Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/1405 of 26 June 2026 correcting certain language versions of Regulation (EU) 2021/821 of the European Parliament and of the Council setting up a Union regime for the control of exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit and transfer of dual-use items

Whereas:

(1) The Hungarian, Lithuanian, Slovak and Swedish language versions of Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2021/821 contain errors in Part I, in the definition of nuclear reactor. The errors were introduced by Commission Delegated Regulation

(EU) 2022/1(2)and affect the substance of that definition.

(2) The Dutch, Greek, Slovenian and Swedish language versions of Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2021/821 contain an error in Part IV, point 2B510.b.2 as regards the characteristics of the vacuum. The error was introduced by Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/2003(3)and affects the substance of that provision.

(3) The Irish and Swedish language versions of Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2021/821 also contain an error in Part V, point 3B501.n.4 as regards the type of metal. The error was introduced by Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/2003 and affects the substance of that provision.

(4) In addition, the Swedish language version of Annex I to Regulation (EU) 2021/821 contains an error in Part V, point 3B501.n.7.b.1 as regards the type of filter. The error was introduced by Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/2003 and affects the substance of that provision.

(5) The Dutch, Greek, Hungarian, Irish, Lithuanian, Slovak, Slovenian and Swedish language versions of Regulation

(EU) 2021/821 should therefore be corrected accordingly. The other language versions are not affected,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
