1. (1) इन वनयमों को पासपोर्ट (सशं ोधन) वनयम, 2026 कहा जा सकेगा।

(2) य े 1 जुलाई 2026 स ेलाग ू होंगे।

2. पासपोर्ट वनयम, 1980 की अनुसूची IV के स्थान पर वनम्नवलवित अनुसूची प्रवतस्थावपत की जाएगी, अथाटत:् ─ ‘अनसु चू ी IV (जनयम 8 िेख)ें पासपोर्ट और यात्रा िस्ट्तावेज़ आवेिनों के संबंध म ें िये िल्ु क की अनुसूची क्रम आवेिन का जववरण िुल्क का प्रकार स ंख्या सामान्य िुल्क तत्काल िल्ु क (सामान्य िल्ु क के सार्) 4694GI/2026 (1)2 THEGAZETTEOFINDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] भारत जविेि भारत जविेि रु. $ रु. $

6. खोए या क्षजतग्रस्ट्त पासपोर्ट के बिले म ें िारी 4250 215 6750 340 दकए िाने वाले साधारण पासपोर्ट के जलए, ज िसम ें 36 पृष्ठ होते ह ैं II. जविषे यात्रा िस्ट्ताविे ─

7. आपातकालीन प्रमाणपत्र लाग ूनहीं 15 लाग ूनहीं लाग ूनहीं

8. प हचान प्रमाणपत्र 1000 50 लाग ूनहीं लाग ूनहीं I II. जवजवध सवे ाए—ँ

9. पासपोर्ट के आधार पर पुजलस क्लीयरेंस 750 40 लाग ूनहीं लाग ूनहीं प्रमाणपत्र, सरेंडर प्रमाणपत्र, ग्लोबल एंरी प्रोग्राम वेररदिकेिन या अन्य जवजवध प्रमाणपत्र िारी करना। रर्प्पणी:

1. “एन ए” का अर्ट ह ै“लाग ूनहीं”।

2. क्रमांक I(क) के तहत िारी पासपोर्ट की वैधता िस वष टसे अजधक नहीं होगी, और क्रमांक I(ख) के तहत िारी पासपोर्ट की वैधता पांच वष ट या आवेिक के 18 वष ट की आयु प्राप्त करन ेतक, िो भी पहल े हो, होगी।

3. 8 वष ट तक की आय ु के नाबाजलगों और वररष्ठ नागररकों (60 वष ट स े अजधक आय ु के व्यजियों) के जलए नए आवेिनों (पुनः िारी करने के जलए नहीं) पर पासपोर्ट िुल्क में िस प्रजतित की छूर् होगी।‘ [िा. स.ं 401/01/20/2025] बी.एस. मुबारक, संयुि सजचव और मुख्य पासपोर्ट अजधकारी नोर्. — पासपोर्ट जनयम, 1980 को भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उप-खंड (i) म ें अजधसूचना संख्या िी.एस.आर. 691(ई), दिनांक 11 दिसंबर, 1980 के माध्यम से प्रकाजित दकया गया र्ा और जपछली बार अजधसूचना संख्या िी.एस.आर. 156 (ई), दिनांक 24 िरवरी, 2025 के माध्यम से इसे संिोजधत दकया गया र्ा।[भागII—खण् ड3(i)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3 MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 20th June, 2026 G.S.R. 516(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Passports Act, 1967(15 of 1967), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Passports Rules, 1980, namely:─

1. (1) These rules may be called the Passports (Amendment) Rules, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force with effect from the 1st day of July, 2026.

2. For Schedule IV to the Passports Rules, 1980, the following Schedule shall be substituted, namely:─ ‘SCHEDULE IV (See rule 8) Schedule of fees payable in respect of applications for passport and travel documents Sl. (a) Applicants (18 years of age and above / Minors aged between 15 to 18 years, if applied under this category) :

Note:

1. “NA” means “not applicable”.

2. The validity of passports issued under serial number I(a) shall not exceed ten years, and the validity of passports issued under serial number I(b) shall be for five years or until the applicant attains the age of 18 years, whichever is earlier.4 THEGAZETTEOFINDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)]

3. There shall be a discount of ten per cent. in passport fee for fresh applications (and not for re-issue) in respect of minors up to the age of 8 years and senior citizens (persons above the age of 60 years).’.
