1. (1) इन जनयमों का संजिप्त नाम भारत सरकार (कायय-आबंटन) (तीन सौ पिासीवां संिोधन) जनयम, 2026 ह।ै
(2) ये तुरंत प्रवृत्त होंगे।
2. भारत सरकार (कायय-आबंटन) जनयम, 1961 म,ें जद्वतीय अनसु ूिी में, “उपभोिा मामल,े खाद्य और सावयिजनक जवतरण मंिालय” िीर्यक के अधीन, उप-िीर्यक “ख. खाद्य और सावयिजनक जवतरण जवभाग” के अधीन :-
(i) ‘वनस्ट्पजत, वनस्ट्पजत तेल और वसा जनिेिालय’ से संबंजधत प्रजवजि 14 का लोप दकया िाएगा;
(ii) ‘िकयरा जनिेिालय, नई दिल्ली’ से संबंजधत प्रजवजि 15 का लोप दकया िाएगा;
(iii) ‘िकयरा उद्योग जवकास पररर्ि, नई दिल्ली स ेसंबंजधत मामल’े स ेसंबंजधत प्रजवजि 18 का लोप दकया िाएगा; और 2552 GI/2026 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)]

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th April, 2026 S.O. 1813(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of article 77 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961,
namely: -
1. (1) These rules may be called the Government of India (Allocation of Business) (Three Hundred and Eighty- fifth Amendment) Rules, 2026.
(2) They shall come into force at once.
2. In the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, in THE SECOND SCHEDULE, under the heading “MINISTRY OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, FOOD AND PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION (UPBHOKTA MAMLE, KHADYA AUR SARVAJANIK VITARAN MANTRALAYA)”, under the sub-heading “B.
DEPARTMENT OF FOOD AND PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION (KHADYA AUR SARVAJANIK VITARAN VIBHAG)”,-
(i) entry 14 relating to ‘Directorate of Vanaspati, Vegetable Oils and Fats.’ shall be omitted;
(ii) entry 15 relating to ‘Directorate of Sugar, New Delhi.’ shall be omitted;
(iii) entry 18 relating to ‘Matters relating to the Development Council of Sugar Industry, New Delhi.’ shall be omitted; and
(iv) after entry 23, the following entry shall be inserted, namely: - “24. Directorate of Sugar and Vegetable Oils (DSVO).”.
