NOTIFICATION The draft of the following rules to amend the Karnataka Civil Services (Absorption of Contract Para-medical Staffs and Drivers appointed in the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services) (Special) Rules, 2006, which the Government of Karnataka proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990), is hereby published as required by clause

(a) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the said Act, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft shall be taken into consideration after fifteen days from the date of its publication in the official Gazette.

Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said draft before the expiry of the period specified above shall be considered by the State Government. Objections and suggestions may be addressed to the Principal Secretary to Government, Health and Family Welfare Department, Vikasa Soudha, Bengaluru-560001.

DRAFT RULES

1. Title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka Civil Services (Absorption of Contract Para-medical Staffs and Drivers appointed in

2024.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette.

2. Amendment of rule 3.- In the Karnataka Civil Services (Absorption of Contract Para-medical Staffs and Drivers appointed in Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services) (Special) Rules, 2006 (hereinafter referred as the said rules), in rule 3, after sub-rule (2), after first proviso the following proviso shall be inserted, namely;- “Provided that, persons specified at serial No. 813 and 814 in the Schedule, who are qualified and willing to get absorbed under these rules shall make an application to the Director, Directorate of Health and Family Welfare within thirty days from the date of commencement of the Karnataka Civil Services (Absorption of contract para-medical staffs and Drivers appointed in Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services) (Special) (Amendment) Rules, 2024 expressing their willingness to get absorbed in the Directorate of Health and Family Welfare Services.”

3. Amendment of schedule.- In the schedule of the said rules, under the heading “JUNIOR MEDICAL LAB TECHNOLOGIST” after serial number 812 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely:- 813 RAVICHANDRA 25/12/ 1979 24/09/2005 Jr. Medical 3850-7050 GM B.O.
