1. (1) इन जनयम का संजिप्त नाम भारतीय डाकघर (पांचिां संिगधन) जनयम, 2023 ै।

(2) ये जनयम 1 निंबर, 2023 से प्रिृत्त ै गे।

2. भारतीय डाकघर जनयम, 1933 की अनुसूची-III में क्रम सख्ं या 40 और उससे संबंजधत प्रजिजिय के पश्चात्, जनम्नजलजखत क्रम संख्या और प्रजिजियां अंतःस्ट्थाजपत की िाएंगी, अथाात ्

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 23rd October, 2023 G.S.R. 809(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 10 read with section 74 of the Indian Post Office Act, 1898 (6 of 1898), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933, namely: -

1. (1) These rules may be called the Indian Post Office (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 2023.

(2) They shall come into force with effect from the 1st day of November, 2023.

2. In the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933, in Schedule-III, after serial number 40 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be inserted, namely:-
