1. (1) इन िनयम( का सिं 34 नाम भारत सरकार (काय-- आबंटन) तीन सौ छ$ीसवा ंसशं ोधन िनयम, 2017 ह ै।

(2) ये तुरंत #व$ृ ह(गे ।

2. भारत सरकार (काय-- आबंटन) िनयम,,,, 1961 क; ि"तीय अनसु चू ी म,>- (क) “िव$ मं?ालय” शीष-क के अधीन,,,,-

(I) “क. आAथक काय- िवभाग” उप-शीष-क के अधीन, #िविB 1 म,> मद (ख) का लोप (cid:4)कया जाएगा।;

(II) “ग. राजDव िवभाग” उप-शीषक- के अधीन,,,,-

(i) #िविB 14 के Dथान पर, िनGिलिखत #िविB रखी जाएगी, अथात- ्::::---- “14. अधीनDथ संगठनः (क) आयकर िवभाग; (ख) सीमा-शु(cid:6)क िवभाग; (ग) केLMीय उOपाद शु(cid:6)क िवभाग; (घ) Dवापक पदाथ- िवभाग (इसके अंतग-त Dवापक पदाथ- िनयं?ण Qयूरो नहR ह)ै ;

और (ङ) माल और सेवा कर #शासन।”;

(ग) संघ-रा]य 3े? माल और सेवा कर अिधिनयम, 2017 (2017 का 14); (घ) माल और सेवा कर (रा]य( को #ितकर) अिधिनयम, 2017 (2017 का 15); और (ङ) िवधानमंडल रिहत सघं -रा]य 3े?( म > अ#Oय3 कर( (सीमा शु(cid:6)क को छोड़कर) से संबंिधत िवधायी काय- ।”;;;;

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 7th November, 2017 S.O. 3565(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of article 77 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, namely:—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Three Hundred and Thirty Sixth Amendment Rules, 2017.

(2) They shall come into force at once.

2. In the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, in THE SECOND SCHEDULE,—

(A) under the heading “MINISTRY OF FINANCE (VITTA MANTRALAYA)”,—¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(ii)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3

(I) under the sub-heading “A. DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC AFFAIRS (ARTHIK KARYA VIBHAG)”, in entry 1, item (b) shall be omitted;

(II) under the sub-heading “C. DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE (RAJASWA VIBHAG)”,-

(i) for entry 14, the following entry shall be substituted, namely:- “14. Subordinate Organisations:

(a) Income Tax Department;

(b) Customs Department;

(c) Central Excise Department;

(d) Narcotics Department (excluding Narcotics Control Bureau); and

(e) Goods and Services Tax Administration.”;

(ii) after entry 17, the following entry shall be inserted, namely:- “17A. Work relating to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and related Inter-Ministerial Coordination.”;

(iii) after entry 18, the following entries shall be inserted, namely:- “18A. The Goods and Services Tax Council.

18B. The Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal.”;

(iv) after entry 20, the following entry shall be inserted, namely:- “21. All matters relating to –

(a) The Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017);

(b) The Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (13 of 2017);

(c) The Union Territory Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (14 of 2017);

(d) The Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to States) Act, 2017 (15 of

2017); and

(e) Legislative work related to Indirect Taxes (excluding Custom Duty) in Union Territories without Legislature.”;

(B) under the heading “MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS (GRIH MANTRALAYA)”, under the sub-heading “A. DEPARTMENT OF INTERNAL SECURITY (ANTRIK SURAKSHA VIBHAG)”, in entry 58, for the words “Department of Economic Affairs”, the words “Department of Revenue” shall be substituted.
