NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 12th August, 2015 S.O. 2235(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of article 77 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, namely:—

1. (1) These rules may be called the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Three Hundred and Sixteenth Amendment Rules, 2015.

(2) They shall come into force at once.

2. In the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, in THE SECOND SCHEDULE, under the heading “MINISTRY OF HEAVY INDUSTRIES AND PUBLIC ENTERPRISES (BHARI UDYOG AUR LOK UDYAM MANTRALAYA)”, under the sub-heading “B. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC ENTERPRISES (LOK UDYAM VIBHAG)”, for the existing entries, the following entries shall be substituted, namely:— “1. Residual work relating to erstwhile Bureau of Public Enterprises including Industrial Management Pool.

2. Coordination of matters of general policy affecting all Public Sector Enterprises.

3. Evaluation and monitoring the performance of Public Sector Enterprises, including the Memorandum of Understanding mechanism.

4. Matters relating to Permanent Machinery of Arbitration for the Public Sector Enterprises.

5. Counselling, training and rehabilitation of employees in Central Public Sector Undertakings under Voluntary Retirement Scheme.

7. Measures aimed at improving performance of Central Public Sector Enterprises and other capacity building initiatives of Public Sector Enterprises.

10. Matter relating to International Center for Public Enterprises.

11. Categorisation of Central Public Sector Enterprises including conferring ‘Ratna’ status.

12. Survey of Public Enterprises.”.
