2. दकसी भी अजधजनर्म, जनर्म, जवजनर्म, अजधसूचना, आिेि, दििाजनिेि, उप-जनर्म र्ा र्ोिना में िहां कहीं भी "सजचव, िहरी जवकास" र्ा "सजचव, आवासन और िहरी कार्य मंत्रालर्" का संिभय आता ह,ै वहां तक िहा ंऐसा संिभय पूवोक्त रािधानी जवकास जवभाग को आवंटटत दकसी जवर्र् स े संबंजधत ह,ै "सजचव, रािधानी जवकास जवभाग, आवासन और िहरी कार्य मंत्रालर्" द्वारा प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकर्ा िाएगा।

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st September, 2026 G.S.R. 772(E).—In pursuance of notification of the Cabinet Secretariat No. S.O. 4040(E) dated 22nd July, 2026, whereby the 'Department of Capital Development' has been constituted within the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and the subjects specified at serial numbers 1 to 25 under heading A. Department of Capital Development in the Second Schedule to the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961 have been allocated to it, it is hereby notified that —

2. All references to "Secretary, Urban Development" or "Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs", wherever occurring in any Act, rule, regulation, notification, order, guideline, bye-law or scheme, in so far as such reference relates to any subject allocated to the Department of Capital Development as aforesaid, shall stand substituted by "Secretary, Department of Capital Development, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs".

3. Nothing in this notification shall affect the validity of any action taken, order passed, or thing done by the Secretary, Urban Development or Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs before the date of this notification in relation to the said subjects, and every such action shall be deemed to have been validly taken by the competent authority.
