1. (1) इस आदेि को एयर कंडीिनर और इसके संबंजधत पुिे, हमेरिक कंप्रेसर और िेंपरेचर सेंससंग कंरोल (गुणवत्ता जनयंत्रण) दसू रा संिोधन आदेि, 2026 कहा िाएगा।

(2) यह आदेि रािपत्र म ेंइसके प्रकािन की तारीख से प्रभावी होगा।

2. एयर कंडीिनर तथा इसके संबंजधत पुिे, हमेरिक कंप्रेसर और िेंपरेचर सेंससंग कंरोल (गणु वत्ता जनयंत्रण) आदेि, 2019 के परै ा 2 म,ें- (क) नौवें परंतुक म,ें ताजलका में, कॉलम (1) की माल या वस्ट्तुएं िीर्धक के तहत, "रेिेड क्षमता का रोिरी हमेरिक कंप्रेसर" िब्दों को, "रेिेड क्षमता का स्ट्रॉल या रोिरी हमेरिक कंप्रेसर" िब्दों से प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा;

(ख) नौवें परंतुक के बाद, जनम्नाजलजखत परंतुक को अंतर्वधष्ट दकया िाएगा, नामत:- 7630 GI/2026 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] बिते यह भी दक इस आदेि म ें से कुछ भी, एयर कंडीिसनगं और रेदििरेिन उपकरण तथा संबंजधत पुिे के ऐस े प्रत्येक जवजनमाधता द्वारा प्रजत वर्ध रखरखाव और जबरी के जलए घरेल ू रूप से जवजनर्मधत या आयाजतत 6,000 हमेरिक कम्प्प्रेसर और हीि एक्सचेंिसध पर लागू नहीं होगा, िो ब्यूरो द्वारा प्रमाजणत ह,ैं या ऐसे जवजनमाधता जिन्होंने एयर कंडीिनर और उसके संबंजधत पुि,े हमेरिक कंप्रेसर और िेंपरेचर सेंससंग कंरोल (गुणवत्ता जनयंत्रण) दसू रा सिं ोधन आदेि, 2026 के िुरू होन े की तारीख स े तीन वर्ध तक संबंजधत माल और वस्ट्तओंु हते ु प्रमाणन के जलए ब्यूरो में आवेदन दकया है, िो इस ित ध के अध्यधीन ह ै दक ऐसे जवजनमाधता घरेलू रूप से जवजनर्मधत या आयाजतत हमेरिक कम्प्प्रेसर और हीि एक्सचेंिसध के अपन े पुराने स्ट्िॉक की घोर्णा करेंग े और ऐसे माल या वस्ट्तओंु का वर्ध-वार ररकॉड ध रखगें े तथा ब्यूरो को इस आिय की घोर्णा के साथ केंद्र सरकार को प्रस्ट्तुत करेंगे:

बिते यह भी दक इस आदेि म ें से कुछ भी एयर कंडीिनर और उससे संबंजधत पुिे, हमेरिक कंप्रेसर और िेंपरेचर सेंससंग कंरोल (गणु वत्ता जनयंत्रण) दसू रा सिं ोधन आदिे , 2026 के िरूु होन े की तारीख से पहले ब्यूरो स े प्रमाजणत जवजनमाधता द्वारा घरेल ू रूप से जवजनर्मधत या आयाजतत माल या वस्ट्तओंु पर लाग ू नहीं होगा, या ऐस े जवजनमाधता जिन्होंन े संबंजधत माल और वस्ट्तुओं हते ु प्रमाणन के जलए ब्यरू ो म ें आवेदन दकया ह ै और ऐस े जवजनमाधता को 30 जसतबं र, 2026 तक ऐसे घोजर्त स्ट्िॉक की जबरी या जबरी के जलए प्रदर्िधत करन े या प्रस्ट्ताव करने की अनुमजत दी िाएगी, िो इस ितध के अध्यधीन होगी दक ऐसा जवजनमाधता ब्यूरो को इस आिय की घोर्णा प्रस्ट्तुत करेगा।” [फा.सं .पी - 29014/63/2017– एलईआई] डॉ. सुजमत कुमार िारंगल, संयुक् त सजचव नोि:– मूल आदेि, भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उप-खंड (ii) में ददनांक 05 ददसंबर, 2019 की अजधसूचना संख्या सां.आ. 4354 (अ) के द्वारा प्रकाजित दकया गया था और तत्पश्चात् इनमें जनम्नानुसार संिोजधन दकया गया:–

3. ददनांक 8 ददसंबर, 2021 का सां.आ. 5095(अ);

4. ददनांक 21 ददसंबर, 2022 का सां.आ. 5972(अ);

5. ददनांक 2 िनवरी, 2024 का सां.आ. 32(अ);

6. ददनांक 11 फरवरी, 2025 का सां.आ. 695(अ);

7. ददनांक 22 अप्रैल, 2025 का सां.आ. 1815(अ); तथा

ORDER New Delhi, the 1st October, 2026 S.O. 5438(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 16 read with sub-

section (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary so to do in the public interest and after consulting the Bureau, hereby makes the following

Order further to amend the Air Conditioner and its related Parts, Hermetic Compressor and Temperature Sensing Controls (Quality Control) Order, 2019, namely:–

1. (1) This Order may be called the Air Conditioner and its related Parts, Hermetic Compressor and Temperature Sensing Controls (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2026.

(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Air Conditioner and its related Parts, Hermetic Compressor and Temperature Sensing Controls (Quality Control) Order, 2019, in paragraph 2, –[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3

(a) in the ninth proviso, in the TABLE, under the heading Goods or articles in column (1), for the words “Rotary hermetic compressor of rated capacity”, the words “Scroll or Rotary hermetic compressor of rated capacity” shall be substituted;

(b) after the ninth proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: –

Provided also that nothing in this Order shall apply to up to 6,000 numbers of hermetic compressors and heat exchangers domestically manufactured or imported for maintenance and sales per year by each of the manufacturers of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and related parts who are certified by the Bureau or manufacturer who has applied to the Bureau for certification for the relevant goods and articles till three years from the date of commencement of the Air Conditioner and its related Parts, Hermetic Compressor and Temperature Sensing Controls (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2026 subject to the condition that such manufacturers shall declare its old stock of hermetic compressors and heat exchangers domestically manufactured or imported and maintain a year- wise record of such goods or articles and furnish the same to the Central Government with a declaration made to this

effect to the Bureau:

Provided also that nothing in this Order shall apply to goods or articles domestically manufactured or imported before the date of commencement of the Air Conditioner and its related Parts, Hermetic Compressor and Temperature Sensing Controls (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2026 by the manufacturer certified by the Bureau or manufacturer who has applied to the Bureau for certification for the relevant goods and articles and such manufacturer shall be permitted to sell or display or offer to sell such declared stock up to the 30th September 2026 subject to the condition that such manufacturer shall made a declaration to this effect to the Bureau.”.
