is currently lying pending and if so, the details...

WILL the Minister of COMMUNICATIONS be pleased to state:
(a) whether the work on the proposed BSNL towers in Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh is currently lying pending and if so, the details thereof;
(b) if so, the present status of the said pending work;
(c) the separated time schedule fixed for the completion of the said work; and
(d) the reasons for the delay in the execution of the work along with the steps taken by the Government for its early completion? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE FOR COMMUNICATIONS AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT (DR. PEMMASANI CHANDRA SEKHAR)
(a) to (d) In Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh, BSNL has commissioned 32 mobile towers out of 43 towers, as on 30.06.2026. Major implementation issues include delays in Right of Way permissions, forest clearances, logistics in remote areas. These are addressed through periodic reviews and inter-ministerial/State-level coordination.
