Parliament Question: Production of Broken Rice

be pleased to state:

(a) the details on the quantity of broken rice produced in the country during last two Financial Years;

(b) the list of countries where broken rice was exported in last two Financial Years; and

(a): Every year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare releases production estimates of rice for an agricultural year (July to June). During 2024-25 and 2025-26 (as per 3rd advance estimate), the production of rice in the country is estimated at 1501.84 lakh tonnes and 1540.24 lakh tonnes respectively.
