be pleased to state:

(a) whether the Government has evaluated the enrollment status and operational efficacy of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) during the agricultural seasons of 2025-26 in Bihar;

(b) if so, the total number of loanee and non-loanee farmers insured, the total premium collected and the central subsidy released to the State of Bihar during the last one year;

(c) the total value of crop insurance claims settled and disbursed to farmers in Bihar who suffered crop losses due to erratic rainfall or floods during this period;

(d) whether the Government has noted any delays by insurance companies in conducting crop cutting experiments or settling claims in flood-prone districts of Bihar particularly in Khagaria and Samastipur Lok Sabha constituency; and

(a) : No Sir, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), introduced in the country from Khraif 2016, is voluntary for the States/Union Territories as well as farmers. State Government of Bihar didn’t implement the scheme in 2025-26.
