(2) और उप-धारा (3) के साथ पठित धारा 14 की उप-धारा (3) द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारतीय मािक ब्यूरो के परामि व स,े यह राय ह ै दक लोकजहत म ें ऐसा करिा आर्श्यक या समीर्ीि ह,ै स्ट्र्णव आभूषण और स्ट्र्ण व जिल्पकृजत की हॉलमार्किंग आदेि, 2020 का और संिोधि करि े के जलए जिम्नजलजखत आदिे करती ह,ै अथावत्: -

1. (1) इस आदेि का संजिप्त िाम स्ट्र्णव आभूषण और स्ट्र्णव जिल्पकृजत की हॉलमार्किंग (दसू रा संिोधि) आदेि, 2023 ह।ै

2. स्ट्र्ण व आभूषण और स्ट्र्ण व जिल्पकृजत की हॉलमार्किंग आदेि, 2020 के, खंड 2 के, उप-खंड (2क) म,ें जिम्नजलजखत परंतुक अतं : स्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, अथावत:् - “परंत ु यदद दकसी व्यजि िे 1 िुलाई, 2021 स े पहले यथा प्रर्जलत परु ािी हॉलमार्किंग र्ाले स्ट्र्ण व आभूषणों और स्ट्र्णव जिल्पकृजतयों के अपिे पुरािे स्ट्टॉक की घोषणा करत े हुए, भारतीय मािक ब्यूरो अजधजियम, 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 18 की उप-धारा (4) के अधीि ब्यरू ो द्वारा यथा अपेजित कोई घोषणा पहले ही कर दी थी, तो ऐसे व्यजि को 30 िूि, 2023 तक परु ाि े स्ट्र्ण व आभूषणों और स्ट्र्ण व जिल्पकृजतयों के ऐस े घोजषत स्ट्टॉक की जिक्री करि े या प्रदििव करि े या जिक्री का प्रस्ट्तार् करि े की अिमु जत होगी। [फा. सं. 6/1/2017-िीआईएस (भाग 2)] जिजध खरे, अपर सजर्र् ठटप्पण : मूल आदेि भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उपखंड (ii) म ें संखयांक का.आ. 205 (अ), तारीख 15 ििर्री, 2020 द्वारा प्रकाजित दकया गया था और तत्पश्चात,् संखयांक का.आ. 3513 (अ), तारीख 9 अिूिर, 2020, का.आ. 2102 (अ), तारीख 1 िूि, 2021, का.आ. 2481 (अ), तारीख 23 िूि, 2021, का.आ. 1594 (अ), तारीख 4 अप्रैल, 2022 तथा का.आ. 1047 (अ), तारीख 6 मार्व, 2023 द्वारा संिोजधत दकया गया था। MINISTRY OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, FOOD AND PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION (Department of Consumer Affairs)

ORDER New Delhi, the 31st March, 2023 S.O. 1555(E).— In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (3) of section 14 read with sub-sections

(2) and (3) of section 15, sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 16, section 17 and sub-section (2) and (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following

Order, further to amend the Hallmarking of Gold Jewellery and Gold Artefacts Order, 2020, namely:-

1. (1) This Order may be called the Hallmarking of Gold Jewellery and Gold Artefacts (Second Amendment)

Order, 2023.

(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Hallmarking of Gold Jewellery and Gold Artefacts Order, 2020, in clause 2, in sub-clause (2A), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:- “Provided that if any person, had already given a declaration as required by the Bureau under sub-section (4) of section 18 of the Bureau of Indian Standards, Act, 2016 (11 of 2o16) declaring his old stock of Gold jewellery or Gold artefacts with old hallmarking as existed prior to 1st July 2021, such person shall be permitted to sell or display or offer to sell such declared stock of old Gold jewellery or Gold artefacts upto the 30th June 2023”.
