ORDER New Delhi, the 31st March, 2023 S.O. 1556(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following order further to amend the Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymers (Quality Control) Order, 2022, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement. – (1) This order may be called the Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymers (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2023.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Copolymers (Quality Control) Order, 2022, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph

2. In the 100 Percent Polyester Spun Grey and White Yarn (Quality Control) Order, 2022, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2), the following sub-paragraph shall be substituted, namely:— “(2) It shall come into force on the 03rd day of July, 2023”.
