Ministry of External Affairs REGIONAL PASSPORT OFFICE, PUNE CONDUCTED OPEN HOUSE; MAJOR RELIEF TO PASSPORT APPLICANTS प्रव तथ: 04 JUN 2026 4:26PM by PIB Mumbai Pune, 4 June 2026 Guided by the spirit of “Nagariko Devo Bhavah”, the Regional Passport Office (RPO), Pune conducted Open House at the Regional Passport Office, Baner, Pune on June 3, 2026, aimed at addressing passport-related grievances and ensuring timely issuance of passports.

The initiative was aimed at resolving grievances related to passport applications. Senior officers from RPO Pune interacted directly with applicants, heard their concerns, and facilitated on-the- spot resolution of several pending cases.

During the session, applicants were also provided detailed guidance on documentation requirements for passport applications, procedures to be followed in cases involving ongoing court proceedings, change of address issues, etc.

The Open House provided a valuable platform for citizens to engage directly with officials of the Passport Office, significantly reducing delays and improving transparency in the passport issuance process.

The Regional Passport Office, Pune reiterated its commitment to citizen-centric service delivery and to ensuring faster, more efficient processing of passport applications.
