Ms. No. 129, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, 27th July 2026, Aadi 11, Parabhava, Thiruvalluvar Aandu-2057.] No. SRO B-38/2026.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of Article 187 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, hereby makes the following amendment to the Adhoc Rules for the temporary post of Joint Secretary (Editor of Debates) in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Secretariat published with the Legislative Assembly Secretariat Notification No. SRO B - 13/94 at page 10 of Part-III—Section-1(b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 26th January 1994.
2. It shall come into force at once.
Amendment In the said Rules, for rule 5, the following rules shall be substituted, namely:-
5. Qualifications - No person shall be eligible for appointment to the post unless, he/she possess the following qualifications, namely:-
(i) Must hold a Bachelor's degree of any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission; and
(ii) Must hold a degree of Bachelor of General Laws or any other degree in Law of any University recognised by the University Grants Commission.
6. Pay - There shall be paid to the holder of the post a monthly pay calculated in the level of pay of Rs. 1,23,400 - Rs.2,50,800 (in Level 29) admissible to the post from time to time under orders in force.
Amendment to the Adhoc Rules for the temporary post of Deputy Secretary (Editor) for Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Secretariat Service [S.O. Ms. No. 130, Legislative Assembly Secretariat, 27th July 2026, Aadi 11, Parabhava, Thiruvalluvar Aandu-2057.] No. SRO B-39/2026.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of Article 187 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after consultation with the Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, hereby makes the following amendment to the Adhoc Rules for the termporary post of Deputy Secretary (Editor) in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Secretariat published with the Legislative Assembly Secretariat Notification No. SRO B - 427/86 at pages 572-573 of Part-III—Section-1(b) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 29th October 1986 as subsequently amended.
2. It shall come into force at once.
