1. सजं क्षि नाम और प्रारंभ—इन जिजनयमों को खाद्य सरु क्षा और मानक (खाद्य उत्पाि मानक और खाद्य सहयोज्य) संिोधन जिजनयम 2024 कहा िा सकता ह।ै

2. खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक (खाद्य उत्पाि मानक और खाद्य सहयोज्य) जिजनयम, 2011 के अन्तगवत पठरजिष्ट क म,ें “IV. खाद्य उत्पािों म ें खाद्य सहयोज्य के प्रयोग” िीर् व के अतं गवत— ताजलका 1 म,ें खाद्य श्रणे ी प्रणाली 1.2.1.1 ; दकजण्ित िधू (सामान्य), दकण्िन के बाि जिसका ताप स े संपकव न हुआ हो स े संबंजधत प्रजिजष्टयों के सामन े ‘दकसी योिक की अनुमजत नहीं ह’ै िाली प्रजिजष्ट के बाि जनम्नजलजखत िोडा िाएगा, अथावत:् — ताजलका 1 िग्ु ध एि ंसमरूप उत्पाि, श्रणे ी सखं या 2.0 के उत्पािों को छोडकर खाद्य श्रेणी प्रणाली खाद्य श्रेणी का नाम खाद्य सहयोज्य आइएनएस सं. अजधकतम अपेजक्षत नोि स्ट्तर “1.2.1.1 दकजण्ित िधू नेिामाईजसन 235 5 mg/kg 3,80” (सामान्य), दकण्िन (केिल चक् का में) के बाि जिसका ताप से संपकव न हुआ हो ताजलका 1 म,ें खाद्य श्रणे ी की प्रणाली 1.7: डेयरी आधाठरत डेििव स े संबंजधत प्रजिजष्टयों के सामन े कॉलम (3) म ें खाद्य सहयोज्य “िोकोफेरोल्स” के बाि और उससे संबंजधत प्रजिजष्टयों के सामन े जनम्नजलजखत िोडा िाएगा : — ताजलका 1 िग्ु ध एि ंसमरूप उत्पाि, श्रणे ी सखं या 2.0 के उत्पािों को छोडकर खाद्य श्रेणी प्रणाली खाद्य उत्पाि का खाद्य सहयोज्य आइएनएस सं. अजधकतम अपेजक्षत नोि नाम स्ट्तर “1.7 िग्ु ध आधाठरत मीिे नेिामाईजसन (केिल 235 5 mg/kg 3,80” पकिान श्रीखण्ड में) िी. कमला िधवन राि, मखु य कायवकारी अजधकारी [जिज्ञापन-III/4/असा./416/2024-25] नोि : खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक (खाद्य उत्पाि मानक और खाद्य सहयोज्य) जिजनयम, 2011 का प्रकािन भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग III, खंड 4 में दिनांक 1 अगस्ट्त, 2011 की अजधसूचना संखया फा. सं. 2-15015/30/2010 द्वारा दकया गया और इसका आजखरी संिोधन दिनांक 21 फरिरी, 2023 की अजधसूचना सं. एसिीडी/एफए/ए-1.30/सं.1/2020- एफएसएसएआई द्वारा दकया गया।[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3 FOOD SAFETY AND STANDARDS AUTHORITY OF INDIA

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 21st August, 2024 F. No. REG-11015/3/2024-Regulation-FSSAI.—The following draft of certain regulations further to amend the Food safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2011, which the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India proposes to make with previous approval of the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (e) of sub-section (2) of section 92 read with section 16 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (34 of 2006) is hereby published as required under sub-section (1) of section 92 of the said Act for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft regulations shall be taken into consideration after the expiry of the period of sixty days from the date on which copies of the Gazettecontaining this notification are made available to the public.

Objections or suggestions, if any, may be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, FDA Bhawan, Kotla Road, New Delhi- 110002 or sent on email at regulation@fssai.gov.in Objections or suggestions, which may be received from any person with respect to the said draft regulations before the expiry of period so specified, shall be considered by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India.

Draft regulations

1. Short title and commencement.—These regulations may be called the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Amendment Regulations, 2024.

2. In the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2011, Appendix A, under the heading “IV. Use of Food Additives in Food Products”,— In Table 1, against the entries relating to Food Category System 1.2.1.1: Fermented milks (plain) not heat treated after fermentation, after the entry ‘No additives permitted’, the following shall be inserted, namely:— Table 1 Dairy products and analogues, excluding products of category 2.0 Food Category Food Category Food Additive INS Recommended Note system Name Number Maximum Level “1.2.1.1 Fermented milks Natamycin (Only in 235 5 mg/kg 3,80”
