(2) के खंड (ट) द्वारा प्रित् त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, करना चाहती ह,ै इन जवजनयमों के प्रारूप से प्रभाजवत होन े वाल े संभाजवत सभी व् यजियों को सूचना िेन े के जलए उि अजधजनयम की धारा 92 की उप-धारा (1) की अपेक्षा के अनुसार एतिद्वारा प्रकाजित दकया िाता ह ै और एतिद्वारा नोठटस दिया िाता ह ै दक उक्त प्रारूप जवजनयमों पर उस जतजथ से साि दिनों की अवजध समाप् त होने के बाि जवचार दकया िाएगा, जिस जतजथ को इस अजधसूचना को प्रकाजित करन े वाले रािपत्र की प्रजतयााँ िनता को उपलब् ध कराई िाएाँगी। यदि कोई आपजि या सुझाव हो तो उसे मखु य कायशकारी अजधकारी, भारतीय खाद्य सरु क्षा और मानक प्राजधकरण, एफडीए भवन, कोटला रोड, नई दिल् ली-110002 को अथवा regulation@fssai.gov.in पर ई-मले स े भेिा िा सकता ह।ै उक्त प्रारूप जवजनयमों के संबंध में दकसी व् यजि से इस प्रकार जनधाशठरत जतजथ तक प्राप् त आपजियों और सुझावों पर भारतीय खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक प्राजधकरण द्वारा जवचार दकया िाएगा। 1254 GI/2025 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4] प्रारूप जवजनयम

1. सजं क्षप्त नाम और प्रारंभ - इन जवजनयमों को खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक (लेबललगं और प्रििशन) संिोधन जवजनयम, 2025 कहा िाएगा।

2. खाद्य सुरक्षा और मानक (लबे ललंग और प्रििशन) जवजनयम, 2020 (जिन्द् ह ेंएतद्पश् चात् उक्त जवजनयम कहा िाएगा, :

(1) जवजनयम 5 म,ें पोषण सूचना स े संबंजधत उप जवजनयम (3) म,ें खंड (ख) म,ें उप खडं (ii) के बाि जनम्नजलजखत खडं अंतःस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, - “(ii)(क) योजित िकशरा, सैचरु ेटेड वसा और सोजडयम तत्वों के संबंध में आकजलत अनुिंजसत आहारमान (आरडीए) म ें प्रजत परोसे प्रजतित (%) अंि की िानकारी अपेक्षाकृत बढे हुए फ़ॉन्द्ट आकार के साथ मोटे अक्षरों में िी िानी चाजहए।”

(2) अनुसूची I म,ें पैरा (2) के बाि, जनम्नजलजखत अंतःस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, अथाशत ् :- “(3) खाद्य सरु क्षा और मानक (खाद्य उत्पाि मानक और खाद्य सहयोज्य) जवजनयम, 2011 के जवजनयम 2.1 के तहत उप-जवजनयम 2.1.1 के खंड 5 (क) के अनुसार जमजित िग्ु ध उत्पािों सजहत सभी िधू और िग्ु ध उत्पािों पर नीच े दिया गया जनर्िशष्ट लोगो होना चाजहए:[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3 लोगो स ेसबं जं धत जवजनिेि:

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 17th February , 2025 F.No. SS-T017/1/2023-Standard-FSSAI- The following draft of certain regulations to further amend the Food Safety and Standards (Labelling & Display) Regulations, 2020, which the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India proposes to make with previous approval of the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (k) of sub-section (2) of section 92 read with

section 23 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (34 of 2006) is hereby published as required by sub-

section (1) of section 92 of the said Act, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby, and notice is hereby given that the said draft regulations shall be taken into consideration after the expiry of the period of sixty days from the date on which copies of the Official Gazette in which this notification is published are made available to the public;

Objections or suggestions, if any, may be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, FDA Bhawan, Kotla Road, New Delhi- 110002 or may be sent by e-mail at regulation@fssai.gov.in;

Objections or suggestions which may be received with respect to the said draft regulations within the period specified above shall be considered by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India.

Draft Regulations

1. Short title and commencement- These regulations may be called the Food Safety and Standards (Labelling and Display) Amendment Regulations, 2025.

2. In the Food Safety and Standards (Labelling and Display) Regulations, 2020 (hereafter referred to as said regulations), -

(1) In regulation 5, sub regulation (3) relating to Nutrition information, in clause (b), after sub clause (ii), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: - “(ii)(a) The information regarding per serve percentage (%) contribution to Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) be given in bold letters with relatively increased font size for added sugar, saturated fat and sodium content.”

(2) In schedule I, after para (2), the following shall be inserted, namely :- “(3) All milk and milk products, including composite milk products, as per clause 5(a) of sub- regulation 2.1.1 under regulation 2.1 of Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2011 shall carry the logo as specified below:[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 5

(3) In Schedule-II, para (2), sub para 2.2 relating to Coffee-Chicory Mixture, after clause (2), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: - “Provided that declarations specified in the clause (1) and (2) of the sub para 2.2 shall be displayed on front of the package, in capital letters within a rectangular box on the principal display Panel”.
