NOTIFICATION No.HCE 167/2026, DATED 08.07.2026 THE HIGH COURT OF KARNATAKA SERVICE (CONDITIONS OF SERVICE AND RECRUITMENT) (III AMENDMENT) RULES, 2026 In exercise of powers conferred under Article 229(1) and (2) of the Constitution of India read with Rules 6, 7 and 11 of the High Court of Karnataka Service (Conditions of Service and Recruitment) Rules, 1973, and all other powers enabling thereunto, Hon’ble the Chief Justice, High Court of Karnataka, makes the following Rules to amend the High Court of Karnataka Service (Conditions of Service and Recruitment) Rules, 1973, (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Principal Rules’).

Title and Commencement: (1) These rules may be called as ‘The High Court of Karnataka Service (Conditions of Service and Recruitment) (III Amendment) Rules, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of publication in the Karnataka Gazette.

Now , therefore in exercise of the power conferred by section 6 of the said Act, notice is hereby given for the information of all the persons likely to be affected thereby that the proposal will be taken into consideration on or after thirty days from the date of publication of the notification in the official Gazette.

Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the state Government from any person with respect to the said proposal before the date Specified above will be considered by the state Government.
