1. (1) इि जियमों का संजिप्त िाम जर्जधक मापजर्ज्ञाि (पैकबंि र्स्ट्तुएं) (संिोधि) जियम, 2023 ह।ै
(2) य ेरािपत्र में प्रकािि की तारीख से प्रर्ृत्त होंगे।
2. जर्जधक मापजर्ज्ञाि (पैकबंि र्स्ट्तुएं) संिोधि जियम, 2022 के जियम 1 के उप-जियम (2) में अंकों, अिरों और िब्िों “1 जसतंबर 2023” के स्ट्थाि पर अंक, अिर और िब्ि “1 अक्टूबर 2023” रखा िाएगा। [फा. सं. NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 30th August, 2023 G.S.R. 640(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1), read with clauses (j) and (q) of sub-section
(2), of section 52 of the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 (1 of 2010), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011, namely:-
1. (1) These rules may be called the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) (Amendment) Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Amendment Rules, 2022, in rule 1, in sub-rule (2), for the figures, letters and words “1st day of September, 2023”, the figures, letters and words “1st day of October, 2023” shall be substituted.

Note : The Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Amendment Rules, 2022 were published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) vide number G.S.R. 226 (E), dated the 28th March, 2022 and last amended vide notification number G.S.R. 463 (E), dated the 28th June, 2023.
