NOTIFICATION
WHEREAS the Government of Karnataka having regard to the circumstances prevailing in the State are satisfied that it is necessary that the District Commissioners and District Magistrates and the Commissioners of Police in the State be empowered to exercise the powers under sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Karnataka Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Boot-leggers, Drug-Offenders, Gamblers, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Slum-Grabbers and Video or Audio Pirates Act, 1985 (Karnataka Act No.12 of 1985).
Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 3 of the Karnataka Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Boot-leggers, Drug- Offenders, Gamblers, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Slum-Grabbers and Video or Audio Pirates Act, 1985 (Karnataka Act No.12 of 1985) the Government of Karnataka hereby direct that the District Magistrates and the Commissioners of Police in the State shall exercise the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Act within the limits of their jurisdiction for a period of three months from
10.06.2025 to 09.09.2025.
