Posted On: 25 AUG 2026 1:00PM by PIB Delhi Union Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt. Annpurna Devi has urged citizens not to stay silent if they come across or suspect a child marriage anywhere, and to report it immediately by calling the Child Helpline 1098.

In a post on ‘X’ the Union Minister said that child marriage is not merely a social evil, but a serious blow to the rights, education, health and future of children.
