STATUTORY INSTRUMENTS 2019 No. 1337 GOVERNMENT TRADING FUNDS The Companies House Trading Fund (Revocation) Order 2019 Made - - - - 8th October 2019 Laid before the House of Commons - - - - 15th October 2019 Coming into force - - 1st April 2020 The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1 and 6(1) of the Government Trading Funds Act 1973(1), with the concurrence of the Treasury, makes the following Order.
Citation and commencement
1.โ(1) This Order may be cited as the Companies House Trading Fund (Revocation) Order 2019.
(2) This Order comes into force on 1st April 2020.
Revocation
2. The instruments specified in the Schedule are revoked to the extent shown in that Schedule.

Order 2009 The Secretaries of State for S.I. 2016/992 Paragraph 16 of the Schedule Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, for International Trade and for Exiting the European Union and the Transfer of Functions (Education and Skills) Order 2016 EXPLANATORY NOTE (This note is not part of the Order) This Order revokes the Companies House Trading Fund Order 1991 (S.I. 1991/1795) and the Companies House Trading Fund (Amendment) Order 2009 (S.I. 2009/2622), as well as provisions of other instruments to the extent to which they amend the 1991 Order, with effect from 1st April
2020. As a result, the trading fund established by the 1991 Order will cease to exist, the operations of Companies House as defined in Schedule 1 to the 1991 Order will cease to be funded by means of a trading fund, and its assets and liabilities will no longer be appropriated to a trading fund.
Companies House will remain an Executive Agency of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the private, voluntary or public sector is foreseen.
