NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 27th May, 2024 S.O. 2116(E).—In continuation of this Department’s Notification published in the Official Gazette vide S.O. 3151I dated 11 July 2023, and in pursuance of Department of Personnel & Training O.M. No. 36/05/2024-EO (SM-I) dated 22.02.2024 and OM dated 08.05.2024, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of Section 7 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016) read with Rule 9 of Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018 hereby extends the appointment of Shri Pramod Kumar Tiwari, IAS (AM:1991), as Director General of the Bureau of Indian Standards beyond 23rd May 2024 to till he attains the age of sixty year/superannuation i.e. 31st October 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
