NOTIFICATION No. 232/SEC-B1/2026 Date: 16.07.2026 In exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 200 and 201 of the A.P.

Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 read with Andhra Pradesh Conduct of Election of Member (Co-opted), President and Vice-Presidents of Mandal Praja Parishads and Members (Co-opted), Chairperson and Vice-Chairpersons of Zilla Praja Parishad Rules, 2006 issued in G.O.Ms.No.173, PR & RD (Elections) Dept., dt.10.05.2006, the State Election Commissioner, hereby, directs any Gazetted Officer of the Government authorized by the Collector & District Election Authority, Nandyal to conduct election to the casual vacancy of Vice-President of Jupadu Bunglow Mandal Praja Parishad in accordance with the procedure laid down in the said Rules and specifies the Election Schedule in the Annexure appended to this Notification.

1. Notice to be given in Form-V by the Gazetted Officer authorized by the District Collector, Nandyal calling for Special Meeting for conduct of election of Vice-President of Jupadu Bunglow Mandal Praja Parishad.

On or before

25.07.2026 (Notice shall be given to all the Members of Mandal Praja Parishad specified in clauses (i) to (v) of Sec.149 (1) of A.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1994)

2. Date & Time of Special Meeting for election of Vice- At 11.00 AM on President of Jupadu Bunglow Mandal Praja Parishad. 29.07.2026

Note:

1. Quorum for the election shall be fulfilled as stipulated under Rule 9 (1) of the Andhra Pradesh Conduct of Election of Member (Co-opted), President and Vice-Presidents of Mandal Praja Parishads and Members (Co-opted), Chairperson and Vice-Chairpersons of Zilla Praja Parishad Rules, 2006.

2. If for any reason, the election is not held on the aforesaid date, i.e., 29.07.2026, it shall be held at the same time on the next day, i.e., 30.07.2026 at 11:00 AM whether or not it is a holiday observed by the Mandal Praja Parishad. If the election could not be held on 30.07.2026 also, the matter shall be reported to the State Election Commission to fix another date for holding the election.
