1. सजं क्षि नाम और प्रारंभ.- (1) इन जर्जनयमों का संजक्षप् त नाम ऊिाा दक्षता ब्यूरो (रूम एयर कंडीिनरों के लेबल पर उनके संप्रदिान की जर्जिजियां और रीजत), संिोधन जर्जनयम, 2024 ह।ै

(2) य ेजर्जनयम 01 िनर्री, 2026 से प्रर्ृत् त होंगे।

2. उि जर्जनयमों की, अनुसूची में, िीर्ाक के अधीन, -"रूम एयर कंडीिनर के लेबल पर संप्रदर्िात की िान े र्ाली जर्जिजियां", अंकों, अक्षरों और िब्दों के जलए, - (1) लेबल जडिाइन, (i) आयाम, (ii) रंग योिना (iv) रूम एयर कंडीिनर के जलए मुदरत लेबल का पूरे नमूने के स्ट्थ ान पर जनम्नजलजखत को रखा िाएगा, अथाात:् -

(1) लेबल जडिाइन;

3. उि जर्जनयमों म,ें उपाबंध प्ररूप I – (ख) की मद संख् या 5 के अधीन, रूम एयर कंडीिनर पर जचपकाए िाने र्ाल े लेबल का नमूना नीचे ददखाया गया ह ै (समान श्रेणी के मॉडलों के जलए अलग नमूना संलग्न करें (यदद लाग ू हो)), जनम्नजलजखत प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, अथाात:्6 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART III—SEC.4]

4. उि जर्जनयमों म,ें उपाबंध प्ररूप II – (ख) की मद संख् या 4 के अधीन ब्यरू ो द्वारा जर्जधर्त अनुमोददत रूम एयर कंडीिनर पर चस्ट् पा दकए िान े र्ाले लेबल का नमूना नीचे ददखाया गया ह ै (मॉडलों की श्रेणी के जलए अलग-अलग नमूने सलं ग्न ह)ैं , जनम्नजलजखत को प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, अथाात:् अभय बाकरे, महाजनदेिक, [जर्ज्ञापन-III/4/असा./173/2024-25] ठटप्प ण - मूल जर्जनयम अजधसूचना संख्या बीईई/एसएण्ड एल/एसी/37/2017-18, तारीख 29 नर्ंबर, 2017 द्वारा भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग III, खंड 4 में प्रकाजित दकए गए थे।[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 7 THE BUREAU OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 6th June, 2024 No. BEE/S&L/AC/37/2023-24.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (i) of sub-section (2) of

section 58 read with clause (n) of sub-section (2) of section 13 of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001 (52 of 2001), the Bureau of Energy Efficiency with the previous approval of the Central Government, proposes to amend the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Room Air Conditioners) Regulation 2017, the proposed draft amendments are hereby published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, as required by sub-section

(1) of section 58 of the said Act, for the information of all the persons likely to be affected thereby and inviting their suggestions and objections (if any); and the notice is hereby given that the said draft regulations shall be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of a period of thirty days from the date of their publication in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary;

Objections or suggestions, if any, may be addressed to the Director-General, Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, 4th Floor, Sewa Bhawan, Sector-1, R.K.Puram, New Delhi-110066;

Objections or suggestions which may be received from the persons with respect to the said draft amendment regulations before the expiry of the period of thirty days specified in para 1 above, shall be taken into consideration by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency.

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These regulations may be called the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (Particulars and Manner of their Display on Labels of Room Air Conditioners), Amendment Regulation, 2024.

(2) It shall come into force with effect from 01st January, 2026.

2. In the said regulations, in Schedule, under the heading, ―“Particulars to be displayed on labels of room air conditioner’’, for the figure, letters and words, ―(1) Label design, (i) Dimension, (ii) Colour scheme (iv) The complete specimen of a printed label for room air conditioner” the following shall be substituted, namely:-

(i) Dimension;

3. In the said regulations, under item no.5 of annexure Form I – (B), Specimen of the label to be affixed on the room air conditioner is shown below (Annex separate specimen for family of models (if applicable)) the following shall be substituted, namely:[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 11

4. In the said regulations, under item no.4 of annexure Form II – (B), Specimen of the label duly approved by the Bureau to be affixed on the room air conditioner is shown below (Separate specimens for family of models is annexed), the following shall be substituted, namely:
