प्रेस विज्ञप्ति Press Release हैदराबाद, 17 वसतंबर 2025 Hyderabad, 17 September 2025 आईआरडीएआई के अध्यक्ष श्री अजय सेठ द्वारा बीमा सुगम इंवडया फे डरेशन िेबसाइट का शुभारंभ IRDAI Chairman Mr. Ajay Seth Launches Bima Sugam India Federation Website बीमा के लिए भारत की सर्वप्रथम लिलिटि सार्विलिक अर्संरचिा के लिमावण हेतु उद्योग का एक सामूलहक प्रयास A collective industry effort to build India’s first Digital Public Infrastructure for insurance बीमा सुगम इंलिया फे िरेशि (बीएसआईएफ) िे आि श्री अजय सेठ, अध्यक्ष, भारतीय बीमा विवनयामक और विकास प्राविकरण (आईआरडीएआई) द्वारा अिार्ृत अपिी आलिकाररक र्ेबसाइट का शुभारंभ उद्योग के मुख्य कायवकारी अलिकाररयो,ं र्ररष्ठ आईआरिीएआई अलिकाररयो,ं तथा बीमा सुगम िेतृत्व टीम की उपस्थिलत में हैदराबाद स्थित अपिे आईआरिीएआई मुख्यािय में होिे की घोषणा की है।यह शुभारंभ बीमा के विए भारत की अग्रगामी वडवजटि सािवजवनक अिसंरचना (डीपीआई) का लिमावण करिे में सर्वप्रथम दृश्य चरण को लचलित करता है, िो “2047 तक सबके लिए बीमा” की राष्ट्रीय पररदृलष्ट् एर्ं प्रिाि मंत्री िी के लर्कलसत भारत 2047 के लमशि के साथ सुयोलित है। इस अिसर पर अपना िक्तव्य देते हुए श्री अजय सेठ, आईआरडीएआई ने कहा हैैः “बीमा सुगम बीमा के लिए भारत की लिलिटि सार्विलिक अर्संरचिा का लिमावण करिे की लदशा में एक महत्वपूणव कदम को लिरूलपत करता है। यह पहि पालिसीिारको ंको सशक्त बिाएगी, बीमा व्यापि को गहि बिाएगी, तथा समूची मूल्य-शंखिा में पारदलशवता और लिष्पक्षता को सुलिलित करेगी। आि इस र्ेबसाइट का प्रारंभ एक महत्वपूणव मीि का पत्थर है, तथा मुझे लर्श्वास है लक उद्योग की सामूलहक प्रलतबद्धता के साथ, `2047 तक सबके लिए बीमा’ की पररदृलष्ट् – प्रिाि मंत्री िी के 2047 तक लर्कलसत भारत के लमशि के भाग के रूप में – एक र्ास्तलर्कता बिेगी।” श्री राके श जोशी, अध्यक्ष, बीमा सुगम इंवडया फे डरेशन (बीएसआईएफ) द्वारा वदया गया िक्तव्यैः “इस लमशि को साकार करिे में आईआरिीएआई की पररदृलष्ट्, मागवदशवि और लिरंतर समथवि के लिए मैं उिके प्रलत अपिा हालदवक आभार व्यक्त करता हूँ। इस र्ेबसाइट के साथ हम देश के लिए एक समार्ेशी, लिबावि एर्ं प्रौद्योलगकी-चालित बीमा पाररस्थिलतक तंत्र (ईकोलसस्टम) का लिमावण करिे की लदशा में पहिा कदम बढा रहे हैं।” श्री प्रसून वसकदर, एमडी और सीईओ, बीएसआईएफ ने अपने विचारो ंको साझा करते हुए कहा हैैः “बीमा सुगम र्ेबसाइट ििता और उद्योग के लिए हमारा प्रामालणक प्रर्ेश-द्वार है। यह ग्राहको,ं बीमाकतावओ ंऔर मध्यर्लतवयो ंको एक सामान्य मंच पर एकसाथ िािे के साथ ही, हमारी पररदृलष्ट्, अलभशासि और प्रगलत के संबंि में स्पष्ट्ता उपिब्ध कराता है। यह एक ऐसी यात्रा में सर्वप्रथम मीि का पत्थर है िो प्रत्येक भारतीय घर-पररर्ार के लिए बीमा तक पहूँच और पारदलशवता को रूपांतररत करेगी।” उक्त प्लेटफामव की लर्शेषताओ ं का रोिआउट सुरक्षा, अिुपािि और मापिीयता के उच्चतम स्तर सुलिलित करते हए एक चरणबद्ध दृलष्ट्कोण का अिुसरण करेगा। बोिव द्वारा अिुमोलदत रूपरेखा के अिुरूप, िैसे-िैसे बीमाकताव और पाररस्थिलतक तंत्र के भागीदार आगामी महीिो ंमें आर्श्यक समन्वय पूरा करेंगे, बािार-िाि तत्काि (ररयि) िेिदेिो ंके साथ प्रगामी रूप में अग्रसर होगा। The Bima Sugam India Federation (BSIF) today announced the launch of its official website, unveiled by Mr. Ajay Seth, Chairman, Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), in the presence of industry CEOs, senior IRDAI officials, and the Bima Sugam leadership team at the IRDAI headquarters in Hyderabad.The launch marks the first visible step in building India’s pioneering Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) for insurance, aligned with the national vision of “Insurance for All by 2047” and the Prime Minister’s mission of Viksit Bharat 2047.

Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Ajay Seth, Chairman, IRDAI, said: “Bima Sugam represents a critical step towards creating India’s Digital Public Infrastructure for insurance. This initiative will empower policyholders, deepen insurance penetration, and ensure transparency and fairness across the value chain. In line with the Board-approved roadmap, the marketplace will progressively go live with real transactions as insurers and ecosystem partners complete necessary integrations over the coming months.
