Will the Minister of Heavy Industries be pleased to state:

(a) whether Government has approved any special plan for the modernization, capacity expansion, and adoption of new technology of the Central Public Sector heavy industries and industrial units located in Jharkhand in the last five years;

(b) if so, the unit-wise details, approved investment, and current progress; and

(c) Government's assessment regarding the creation of direct and indirect employment for local youth in Jharkhand by means of these plans? ANSWER THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR HEAVY INDUSTRIES (SHRI BHUPATHIRAJU SRINIVASA VARMA)

(a): The Ministry of Heavy Industries has not approved any special plan for the modernization, capacity expansion and adoption of new technology of Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSEs) located in Jharkhand in last five years.
