L.-33004/99 सी.जी.-डी.एल.-अ.-07042026-271614 xxxGIDHxxx CG-DL-E-07042026-271614 xxxGIDExxx असाधारण EXTRAORDINARY भाग I—खण्ड 1 PART I—Section 1 प्राजधकार स ेप्रकाजित PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY स.ं 101] नई दिल्ली, सोमवार, अप्रैल 6, 2026/चत्रै 16, 1948 No. 101] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, APRIL 6, 2026/CHAITRA 16, 1948 इस्ट्प ात मत्रं ालय िजु िपत्र नई दिल्ली, 6 अप्रलै , 2026 फा. स.ं 1(6)/2024-आईडी-2.— भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग I, खंड I, अनुच्छ ेि 12 में प्रकाजित दिनांक 23 दिसंबर, 2024 को िारी फा.सं.1(6)/2024-आईडी-2 के तहत िारी ग्रीन स्ट्टील वगीकरण अजधसूचना में आंजिक संिोधन करते हुए ग्रीन स्ट् टील प्रमाणपत्र िारी करने संबंधी अजधसूचना को जनम्नानुसार संिोजधत दकया िाता ह:ै अनच्ु छेि 12: मौििू ा: प्रमाणपत्र वार्षिक आधार (जवत्तीय वषि) पर िारी दकया िाएगा। यदि इस्ट्पात संयंत्र अजधक बार एमआरवी का जवकल्प चनु ते हैं, तो आवश्यकता के अनुसार प्रमाणपत्र वष ि में एक से अजधक बार िारी दकया िा सकता ह।ै अनच्ु छेि 12: सिं ोजधत: (i) प्रमाणपत्र वार्षिक आधार (जवत्तीय वषि) पर िारी दकया िाएगा। यदि इस्ट्पात संयंत्र उत्पाि- वार प्रमाणीकरण का जवकल्प चुनत े ह,ैं तो उत्पाि-जवजिष्ट एमआरवी वषि के िौरान आवश्यकता के अनुसार दकया िा सकता ह ै और उत्पाि के बैचों के जलए प्रमाणपत्र वषि म ें दकसी भी समय आवश्यकता के अनुसार िारी दकया िा सकता ह।ै

(ii) यदि कोई उत्पािक आगामी जवत्तीय वषि म ेंमौिूिा ग्रीन-रेटेड प्रमाणपत्र की जनरंतरता के जलए आवेिन करता 2453 GI/2026 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART I—SEC.1] ह ै और उस अगले जवत्तीय वषि के जलए आवश्यक आंकड े प्रस्ट्तुत करता है, तो ग्रीन स्ट्टील प्रमाणन रूपरेखा के तहत सुचारू रांजििन और अनपु ालन को सुजवधािनक बनान ेके जलए, िारी दकए गए ग्रीन स्ट्टील प्रमाणपत्रों की वैधता को अगले जवत्तीय वषि के एमआरवी पररणामों के अधीन िून माह तक अस्ट्थायी रूप से बढाया िा सकता ह।ै

(iii) नेिनल इंस्ट्टीट्यूट ऑफ सेकेंडरी स्ट्टील टेक्नोलॉिी (एनआईएसएसटी), ग्रीन स्ट्टील प्रमाणपत्र िारी करन ेके जलए नाजमत कायािन्वयन एिेंसी होन ेके नाते, वार्षिक ग्रीन स्ट्टील प्रमाणपत्रों की वैधता का उपयक्तुि अस्ट्थायी जवस्ट्तार प्रिान कर सकती ह।ै

(iv) इस प्रावधान के तहत वैधता का जवस्ट्तार केवल उन इकाइयों पर लाग ू होगा जिन्होंने तत्काल आगामी जवत्तीय वषि के जलए प्रमाणन हते ु आवेिन दकया ह।ै

(v) यदि आवेिक ग्रीन रेटटंग के जलए अहति ा प्राप्त नहीं करता ह ैया जनचली श्रणे ी के जलए अहति ा प्राप्त करता ह ै तो उपयुिक्त जवस्ट्तार उस वषि के 31 माचि को पूविप्रभावी रूप से समाप्त हो िाएगा।

(vi) एनआईएसएसटी इस्ट्पात मंत्रालय को ऐसे जवस्ट्तारों के औजचत्य सजहत एक समेदकत माजसक ररपोटि प्रस्ट्तुत करेगा।

2. यह िुजिपत्र इसके आजधकाररक रािपत्र में प्रकािन की तारीख से प्रभावी होगा। जवनोि कुमार जत्रपाठी, संयुक् त सजचव MINISTRY OF STEEL CORRIGENDUM New Delhi, the 6th April, 2026 F. No. 1(6)/2024-ID-2.— In partial modification of the Green Steel Taxonomy Notification issued vide F. No. 1(6)/2024-ID-2 dated the 23rd December, 2024, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part I, Section 1, Para 12 of the Notification regarding issuance of Green Steel Certificate is modified as under:

Para 12: Existing: The certificate shall be issued on yearly basis (financial year). In case the steel plants opt for MRV more frequently, then the certificate may be issued more than once in a year as per the requirement.

Para 12: Modified: (i) The certificate shall be issued on yearly basis (financial year). In case the steel plants opt for product-wise certification then the product specific MRV can be done as per the requirement during the year and the certificate may be issued for batch(es) of the product anytime in a year as per the requirement.

(ii) If a producer applies in the subsequent financial year (FY) for the continuation of an existing annual green-rated certificate and submits the required data for that next FY, the validity of the issued Green Steel Certificates may be provisionally extended until June of the contiguous FY, subject to the MRV results for the next FY, in order to facilitate a smooth transition and ensure compliance under the Green Steel Certification framework.

(iii) The National Institute of Secondary Steel Technology (NISST), being the designated implementing agency for issuance of Green Steel Certificates, may grant aforesaid provisional extension of validity of annual Green Steel certificates.[भाग I—खण् ड 1] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3

(iv) Extension of validity under this provision shall be applicable only to those units that have applied for certification for the immediate succeeding financial year.

(v) In case the applicant does not qualify for green rating or qualifies for lower category the aforesaid extension will cease to exist retrospectively on 31st March of the year.

(vi) NISST shall submit a consolidated monthly report including justification of such extensions to Ministry of Steel. .

2. This Corrigendum shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
