ORDER लायड्स इंडडया की एक सेवा कं पनी के रूप में वोलांट ग्लोबल सडविसेज़ इंडडया प्राइवेट डल. तथा लायड्स के डसंडडके ट के रूप में वोलांट 1699 के अनुरोध पर पंजीकरण प्रमाणपत्र सं. लायड्स/ एससी/004 का अभ्यपिण Surrender of Certificate of Registration No. LLOYD’S/SC/004 upon request of Volante Global Services India Pvt. Ltd. as a Service Company of Lloyd’s India and Volante 1699 as a Syndicate of Lloyd’s.

1. जबशक बीमा अशिशनयम, 1938 की िारा 3 की उप-िारा (2ए) के अनुसरण में मेससभ र्वोलांट ग्लोबल सशर्वभसेज़ प्राइर्वेट शल. और मेससभ र्वोलांट शसंशिके ट 1699 (इसमें इसके बाद `मेससभ र्वोलांट’ के रूप में उस्ट्िस्ट्ित), लायि्स इंशिया की एक सेर्वा कं पनी, शजनका पंजीकृ त कायाभलय यूशनट सं. 1, लेर्वल 6, 4 नार्भ अर्वेन्यू, मेकर मैस्ट्िटी, बांद्रा-कु लाभ कांप्लेि, बांद्रा (पूर्वभ), मुंबई-400051, भारत में है, को 13 नर्वंबर 2024 से पुनबीमा व्यर्वसाय करने के शलए, प्राशिकरण द्वारा संयुक्त पंजीकरण प्रमाणपत्र (सीओआर) सं. लायि्स/एससी/004 प्रदान शकया गया र्ा।

2. मेससभ र्वोलांट ने, लायि्स इंशिया के माध्यम से आईआरिीएआई को सूशित शकया शक उसके अंतरराष्ट्िीय पररिालनो ंऔर पररिालन मािल की समीक्षा करने के बाद, उसने औपिाररक तौर पर पररिालन प्रारंभ न करने का शनणभय शकया है। तदनुसार, मेससभ र्वोलांट ने आईआरिीएआई (शर्वदेिी पुनबीमाकताभओ ंकी िािाओ ंऔर लायि्स इंशिया का पंजीकरण और पररिालन) शर्वशनयम, 2024 के अध्याय IV के शर्वशनयम 18(3)(घ) के उपबंिो ं के अनुसार अपना सीओआर अभ्यशपभत करने के शलए प्राशिकरण के अनुमोदन हेतु अनुरोि शकया है।

3. मेससभ र्वोलांट ने लायि्स इंशिया के माध्यम से आगे पुष्ट्ीकरण शकया है शक उसने लायि्स इंशिया सेर्वा कं पनी के रूप में संयुक्त पंजीकरण प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान करने से लेकर भारत में पररिालन प्रारंभ नही ंशकया है अर्र्वा कोई भी व्यर्वसाय नही ंशकया है।

4. अब, इस कारण से, शनरस्तीकरण हेतु सीओआर के अभ्यपभण के शलए मेससभ र्वोलांट द्वारा शकये गये अनुरोि के अनुसरण में, प्राशिकरण इसके द्वारा शनम्नशलस्ट्ित ितों के अिीन, मेससभ र्वोलांट ग्लोबल सशर्वभसेज़ इंशिया प्राइर्वेट शल. और मेससभ र्वोलांट शसंशिके ट 1699 को प्रदान शकये गये संयुक्त पंजीकरण प्रमाणपत्र (सीओआर) सं. लायि्स/एससी/ 004 शदनांक 13.11.2024 को इसके द्वारा शनरस्त करता हैैः मेससभ र्वोलांट, लायि्स इंशिया के माध्यम से क) भारत में उक्त िािा का समापन पूरा होने तक अन्य सरकारी एजेंशसयो/ं शर्वशनयामक शनकायो ं से संबंशित सभी प्रयोज्य शर्वशियो ंका पालन करेगा। ि) भारत में अनुरशक्षत सभी बैंक िातो ं को बंद करने के बारे में आईआरिीएआई को सूशित करेगा और प्राशिकरण को समर्भक दस्तार्वेज प्रस्तुत करेगा। सर्वे सं. 115/1, फाइनंशियल शिस्ट्रिक्ट, नानकरामगुिा, हैदराबाद - 500032 Survey No. 115/1, Financial District, Nanakramguda, Hyderabad 500 032 दूरभाष Phone: 040-20204000; www.irdai.gov.in1. Whereas, pursuant to sub-section (2A) of section 3 of the Insurance Act, 1938 M/s. Volante Global Services India Pvt. Ltd. and M/s Volante Syndicate 1699 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘M/s Volante’) a service company of Lloyd’s India, having its registered office at Unit No. 1, Level 6, 4 North Avenue, Maker Maxity, Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra(E), Mumbai – 400051, India, were granted joint Certificate of Registration (CoR) No. LLOYD’S/SC/004 by the Authority, to transact reinsurance business with effect from 13th November, 2024.

2. M/s Volante, through Lloyd’s India, had informed the IRDAI that, following a review of its international operations and operating model, it has decided not to formally commence operations in India. Accordingly, M/s Volante requested for approval of the Authority to surrender its CoR as per the provisions of Regulation 18(3)(d) of Chapter IV of the IRDAI (Registration and Operations of Foreign Reinsurers’ Branches and Lloyd’s India) Regulations, 2024.

3. M/s Volante through Lloyd’s India has further confirmed that it has not commenced operations or undertaken any business in India since the grant of Joint Certificate of Registration as a Lloyd's India service company.

4. NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to the request made by M/s Volante for surrender of CoR for cancellation, the Authority hereby cancels the joint Certificate of Registration (CoR) No. LLOYD’S/SC/004 dated 13.11.2024 granted to M/s. Volante Global Services India Pvt. Ltd. and MS Volante Syndicate 1699, subject to the following conditions:

M/s. Volante, through Lloyd’s India shall a) adhere to all applicable laws relating to other Government agencies/ regulatory bodies till the completion of the closure of the branch in India. b) inform the IRDAI about the closure of all bank accounts maintained in India and submit supporting documents to the Authority.
