(a) the names of agencies authorised to implement Centrally Sponsored/Central Sector skill
development training programmes for Scheduled Tribes...

3155. Shri Balram Naik Porika:
Will the Minister of TRIBAL AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) the names of agencies authorised to implement Centrally Sponsored/Central Sector skill development training programmes for Scheduled Tribes in Telangana during the financial years 2024–25 and 2025–26;
(b) whether the Tribal Cooperative Finance Corporation (TRICOR), Telangana, is the sole implementing agency for these programmes;
(c) if not, the names of other implementing agencies along with the programmes implemented by each of them; and
(d) the criteria adopted by the Government for selection of implementing agencies? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE (TRIBAL AFFAIRS) (SHRI DURGADAS UIKEY)
(a) to (d) The Ministry of Tribal Affairs implements the scheme Pradhan Mantri Janjatiya Vikas Mission (PMJVM) and Pradhan Mantri Janjati Maha Nyaya Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN) through Tribal Co-operative Marketing Development Federation (TRIFED) to facilitate and promote livelihood opportunities and entrepreneurship in the tribal population through establishment of Van Dhan Vikas Kendras (VDVKs). Value addition training and capacity building / skilling of members associated with these VDVKs is an integral part of the scheme.
Telangana State Girijan Co-operative Corporation Ltd is the state implementing agency for establishment of VDVKs in Telangana State. The agency has been notified by the State Nodal Department i.e. Tribal Welfare Department, Government of Telangana.
However, it is submitted that the Ministry has provided equity support to Tribal Cooperative Finance Corporation (TRICOR) under the scheme – ‘Equity support to National / State Scheduled Tribe Finance and Development Corporation’ for providing concessional loans to tribal entrepreneurs for undertaking various livelihood generation activities.
