(a) the details of the number of manufacturers selected and product segments covered under the PLI Scheme for Textiles;
(b) whether any performance assessment has been undertaken and if so, the details thereof; and

(a): As on date, a total of 170 companies have been approved for participation under the PLI Scheme for Textiles, segment wise details are as under:

(b) & (c): Regular monitoring and review of PLI Scheme is done at the level of Ministry and Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), the nodal Department for all PLI Schemes. A Project Management Agency (PMA) has also been engaged for rigorous ground-level verification and a dedicated PLI portal has been created to serve as a centralized repository for scheme-related data and performance metrics. In addition, the scheme is integrated with the Output-Outcome Monitoring Framework of the NITI Aayog for assessing the progress of the scheme on a regular basis.
