be pleased to state:
(a) whether 6322 projects have been sanctioned for Andhra Pradesh under Agriculture Infrastructure Fund(AIF) Scheme and 3711 projects have been completed so far;
(b) if so, the status of the pending projects and the time by which the same are going to be completed;
(c) the details of funds sanctioned and utilized for the above projects as of June, 2026 to the State of Andhra Pradesh, district-wise; and

(a) & (b): Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) Scheme facilitates medium - to - long term debt financing for creation of post harvest management infrastructure and viable farming assets. The Scheme provide 3% interest subvention and credit guarantee support on loans up to ₹ 2 crore for eligible borrowers, subject to a maximum lending rate of 9% per annum. Under Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) Scheme, as on 30th June, 2026, 6850 projects have been sanctioned in the State of Andhra Pradesh, with a total loan amount of ₹ 3,635.57 crore. Out of these, loan for 4272 projects has been fully disbursed.
(c): The district-wise detail of funds sanctioned and utilized for projects in the State of Andhra Pradesh as on 30th June, 2026 is placed at Annexure.
(d): Yes, in November 2025, an Impact Assessment Study of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) has conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM).
Ahmadabad. As per the study, the scheme has improved access to finance for agriculturalenterprises, including small and marginal farmers, entrepreneurs, and established agri- businesses. It has resulted in improved price realization and an upward shift of the beneficiaries in the Agri-value chain. According to the study, each AIF unit on an average supports a minimum of 12-13 direct jobs during peak season, 6 during lean months and 19 indirect jobs through backward and forward linkage such as logistics, marketing, repairs, packaging and ancillary input services. Interventions under the AIF have resulted in an average reduction of 5-15% in post-harvest losses driven by improved storage, processing and mechanization systems that enhance efficiency and reduce spoilage across commodities. The beneficiaries surveyed reported income gains ranging from 11-15 %.
Further as per the study, the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) has strengthened farm- gate infrastructure and improved mechanisation. It has addressed gaps in storage, processing, logistics, and market linkages by supporting a wide range of infrastructure projects for different types of beneficiaries.Annexure District-wise details of loans sanctioned and disbursed under Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) in Andhra Pradesh as on 30th June, 2026.
