Parliament Question: Registered Companies in Ujjain

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS LOK SABHA UN-STARRED QUESTION NO. 1269 ANSWERED ON MONDAY, JULY 27, 2026 REGISTERED COMPANIES IN UJJAIN QUESTION

1269. Shri Anil Firojiya:

WILL THE MINISTER OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS BE PLEASED TO STATE:

(a) the details of newly registered companies in Ujjain Lok Sabha Constituency during the last five years, year-wise;

(b) whether the Government proposes to further simplify the company registration process in Ujjain, if so, the details thereof;

(c) whether any action has been taken against companies violating rules in Ujjain, if so, the details thereof;

(d) the details of the expenditure incurred under Corporate Social Responsibility in Ujjain Lok Sabha Constituency during the last three years; and

(e) whether the Government proposes to start company formation and compliance training programmes for the youth of Ujjain and if so, the details thereof? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS; MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF ROAD TRANSPORT AND HIGHWAYS.

(a) The Ministry does not maintain parliamentary constituency-wise companies’ registration data. However, the details of companies incorporated during the last five years, having their Registered Office in Ujjain district, is as follows:

(c) During the last three financial years, for violations of the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013, prosecutions were filed against two (2) companies and adjudication were undertaken against one (1) company, having their registered office in Ujjain District.

(d) All the data related to CSR filed by CSR mandated companies in MCA21 registry including state-wise, district-wise, year-wise, company-wise is available in public domain and can be accessed at www.csr.gov.in. As per annual filings made by companies in the MCA21 registry, the CSR expenditure in Ujjain district was Rs. 29.17 Cr in FY2022-23, Rs. 24.40 Cr in FY2023-24 and Rs. 34.24 Cr in FY2024-

25. The Ministry does not maintain parliamentary constituency-wise CSR data centrally.

(e) No such proposal specific to Ujjain district is under consideration.

However, the Ministry has facilitated the three Professional Institutes, i.e., Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, to co-design and launch the Corporate Mitra course comprising of 6 months structured learning and 6 months of On-the-Job training providing exposure to real-life business environment. These accredited para-professionals will help the MSMEs in meeting their compliance requirements at affordable costs.

The course is aimed at Tier II and III cities across the country, including Ujjain. *******
