Will the Minister of HOME AFFAIRS be pleased to state:
(a) the number of training institutes set up for the Central Armed Police Forces set up (CAPFs) in the country, including Uttar Pradesh;
(b) whether any expansion, modernization, or upgradation of the CAPF training centres has been carried out;
(c) if so, the details thereof; and
(d) whether any new CAPF training centres are proposed to be set up in the country, particularly in Uttar Pradesh? ANSWER MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF HOME AFFAIRS (SHRI NITYANAND RAI)
(a) A total number of 83 Training Institutions of Central Armed Police Forces
(CAPF) have been established all over the Country.
(b) & (c) Expansion, modernization and upgradation of training centres are being done on requirement basis. Further, purchase of motor vehicles, technical gadgets and creation of manpower for imparting training in CAPFs has been carried out from time to time.-2- L.S.US.Q.NO. 3835 FOR 11.08.2026
(d) It has been decided to establish Central Jungle Warfare College (CRPF) in Bijapur district, Chhattisgarh and Regional Training Centre (CISF) in Kishanganj district, Bihar. *****
