NOTIFICATION Sachivalaya, Gandhinagar, 14th July, 2026 CONSTITUTION OF INDIA No. [(GN-40) FD/PPR/e-file/4/2022/2037/P(Pension)] - In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Governor of Gujarat hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Gujarat Civil Services (New Contributory Pension Scheme) Rules, 2024, namely: -

1. (1) These rules may be called the Gujarat Civil Services (New Contributory Pension Scheme) (Amendment) Rules,

2026.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Gujarat Civil Services (New Contributory Pension Scheme) Rules, 2024, in rule 28, in sub-rule (2), in clause

(B), in sub-clause (iii), after the existing entry (b), the following entries shall be added namely: - “(c) Aggressive Life Cycle Fund with maximum exposure to equity capped at 75%-LC-75

(d) Balanced Life Cycle Fund with maximum exposure to equity capped at 50%, with tapering of equity component commencing from the age of forty-five years-BLC.”.
