भारतीय बीमा विवियामक और विकास प्राविकरण Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India प्रेस प्रकाशिी I 01 जुलाई, 2026 Press Release | 1 July, 2026 आईआरडीएआई िे िए स्टैंडअलोि स्वास्थ्य बीमाकताा को पंजीकरण प्रदाि वकया IRDAI Grants Registration to New Standalone Health Insurer भारतीय बीमा विवियामक और विकास प्राविकरण (आईआरडीएआई) िे 29 जूि 2026 को आयोवजत अपिी 136िी ीं प्राविकरण बैठक में प्रूडेंवशयल एचसीएल हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस वलवमटेड को भारत में स्वास्थ्य बीमा व्यिसाय करिे के विए पींजीकरण प्रमाणपत्र प्रदाि वकया। प्रूडेंवियि एचसीएि हेल्थ इींश्योरेंस विवमटेड प्रूडेंवियि ग्रुप (यूके ) और एचसीएि ग्रुप (भारत) के बीच एक सींयुक्त उद्यम है। इस पींजीकरण के साथ, भारत में काम करिे िािे स्टैंडअिोि स्वास्थ्य बीमाकतााओ ीं की सींख्या बढ़कर आठ हो गई है। यह कै िेंडर िर्ा 2026 के दौराि आईआरडीएआई द्वारा अिुदत्त तीसरा पींजीकरण है। The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), in its 136th Authority meeting held on 29 June 2026, granted Certificate of Registration to Prudential HCL Health Insurance Limited to carry on health insurance business in India.

Prudential HCL Health Insurance Limited is a joint venture between the Prudential Group

(UK) and the HCL Group (India). With this registration, the number of standalone health insurers operating in India has increased to eight.
