NOTIFICATION Patna, the 30th July, 2026 S.O. 4769(E).— In Exercise of Power conferred under clause 7A of Section 2 of the Railway (Amendment) Act 2008, the District Land Acquisition Officer, Munger and Begusarai, as nominated by Additional Chief Secretary, Revenue and Land Reforms Department , State Government of Bihar is hereby authorized as competent authority to perform the function of such authority in their jurisdiction under the said act for ‘‘Double line between Jamalpur – Munger with Bridge over Ganga Including Jamalpur avoiding line (15Km)" Project, which is a Special Railway Project, in the state of Bihar with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette of India.
