NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 3rd September, 2026 S.O. 4892(E).—In exercise of the power conferred by clause (37A) of Section 2 of the Railways
(Amendment) Act-2008, the Central Government hereby notifies the project of “Construction of 3rd Railway line Between Jalandhar Cantt.–Jammu Tawi (210.750 Kms.) in Firozpur Division and Jammu Division of Northern Railway " for acquisition of approximately 234.080 Hactare of land, in districts Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur and Pathankot of the State Punjab, districts kathua, Samba and Jammu of the state Jammu and Kashmir, and district Kangra of the State of Himachal Pradesh, for providing national infrastructure for a public purpose with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the official gazette.
