Panaji: 13 August 2026 The Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Panaji Regional Office, has launched financial literacy e-content on the Knowledge Portal of Goa University on August 12, 2026.

Providing students, faculty members and other stakeholders easy access to RBI’s educational resources on financial literacy and related subjects.

The e-content was formally launched by Shri Anup Chandran V., Regional Director, RBI, Panaji, in the presence of Dr. Purva Hegde-Desai, Dean, Goa University, officials from RBI’s Financial Inclusion and Development Department, Goa University representatives and students.

The initiative is part of RBI’s continued efforts to promote financial literacy and create greater awareness about banking and financial services, consumer protection and various aspects of the financial system. The initiative places particular emphasis on reaching young adults and the academic community through accessible digital platforms.

The collaboration between RBI and Goa University highlights the importance of using educational institutions and digital platforms to reach the younger generation and encourage informed financial decision-making.
