NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the nd September G.S.R. 775(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 and clause (5) of article 148 of the Constitution and clause (5) of article 148 of the Constitution and after consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor-General of India in relation to persons serving in the Indian Audit and Accounts Department, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 2021,

namely: -

Short title and commencement:-

(1) These rules may be called the Central Civil Services (Pension) Amendment Rules, 2026.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

In the Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 2021, the following proviso shall be inserted below sub-rule

(7) of Rule 37, namely: - “Provided that nothing in this sub-rule shall be applicable to the employees (other than OF Schools and OF Hospitals) of erstwhile Ordnance Factory Board who do not opt for absorption in DPSUs, such employees shall continue to be on deemed deputation till retirement to the DPSUs, created from the conversion of its production units, on terms of foreign service without any deputation allowance.” [File No. 4/27/2026-P&PW(D)] DHRUBAJYOTI SENGUPTA, Jt, Secy.
