NOTIFICATION

Whereas the draft of the Karnataka State Police including Ministerial Services

(Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2023 was published as required by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978, (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) in Notification No. HD/11/PPA/2022, Bengaluru, dated:14.09.2023 in Part IV-A, No.429 of the Karnataka Gazette Extra-Ordinary dated:14.09.2023, inviting objections or suggestions from all the persons likely to be affected thereby within fifteen days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

Whereas, the said Gazette was made available to the public on 14.09.2023 And, whereas no objections and suggestions have been received in this behalf by the State Government.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of

section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act No. 14 of 1990), the Government of Karnataka, hereby makes the following rules, namely:- RULES

1. Title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka State Police Including Ministerial Services (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2023.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette.

2. Amendment to the Schedule. In the Karnataka State Police including Ministerial Services (Recruitment) Rules, 2004, in the Schedule-I, in serial No.

98, for the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:- 98 Translator 01 By deputation of a Translator from the (40900-78200) Directorate of Translation By order and in the name of the Governor of Karnataka (G.
