केन्‍द रीर् सरकार न े उक्त अजधजनर्म की धारा 32 की उप-धारा (1) के खंड (क) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तर्ों का प्रर्ोग करत े हुए, आवासन और िहरी कार्य मंत्रालर्, भारत सरकार की अजधसूचना संख्र्ा का.आ. 2126(अ), तारीख 26 िनू , 2019 द्वारा म ंबई मेरो लाइन-5, ठाण-े जभवंडी-कल्र्ाण के मेरो संरेखण को उक्त अजधजनर्म की अनस ूची में िोडा था;

महाराष्ट्र सरकार न ेसंकल्प संख्र्ा एमआरडी-3326/सीआर-185/र्ूडी-7, तारीख 22 अप्रैल, 2026 द्वारा म ंबई मेरो लाइन-5 (ठाणे–जभवंडी–िग ाडय ी) के प नरीजक्षत संरेखण तथा उक्त मेरो कॉररडोर के िग ाडय ी से कल्र्ाण तक जवस्ट्तार को म ंबई मेरो लाइन-5क के रूप म,ें भोईरवाडी से उल्हासनगर तक एक स्ट्कंध सजहत, अन मोदित दकर्ा ह;ै 6653 GI/2026 (1)2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] और केन्‍द रीर् सरकार की र्ह रार् ह ैदक उक्त संरेखण से संबंजधत मेरो रेल के संजनमायण और रख-रखाव के जलए उसम ें पररवतयन करना आवश्र्क ह;ै अतः अब, केन्‍द रीर् सरकार उक्त अजधजनर्म की धारा 32 की उप-धारा (1) के खंड (ख) द्वारा प्रित्त िजक्तर्ों का प्रर्ोग करते हुए, उक्त अजधजनर्म की अन सूची म ेंजनम्नजलजखत संिोधन करती ह,ै तादक म ंबई महानगरीर् क्षेत्र के संबंध म ेंम ंबई मेरो लाइन-5 के मेरो सरं ेखण को प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकर्ा िा सके, अथातय ्:- “मब ं ई महानगरीर् क्षत्रे म ंबई मेरो लाइन-5, 5क मब ं ई मरे ो लाइन-5: कपूरबावडी, बालक म, किेली, काल्हरे , पूणा,य अंि र फाटा, धामणकर और उसका स्ट्कंध नाका, जभवंडी, तेमघर, रािनौली, गोवेगांव, कोंगांव पजश्चम, कोंगांव पूवय। मब ं ई मरे ो लाइन-5क और उसका स्ट्कंध: िग ाडय ी, खडकपाडा, भोईरवाडी, छत्रपजत जिवािी पथ, कल्र्ाण, िांजत नगर, छत्रपजत जिवािी चौक, उल्हासनगर। ओसीसी र्ा जडपो किेली जडपो संरेखण का मानचित्र ” [फा. स.ं के-14011/31/2018-एमआरटीएस-II] प्रवीर क मार, संर् क् त सजचव[भाग II—खण् ड 3(ii)] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3 MINISTRY OF HOUSING AND URBAN AFFAIRS (MRTS-II)

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 28th August, 2026 S.O. 4792(E).— Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Metro Railways (Construction of Works) Act, 1978 (33 of 1978), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act,) the Central Government had extended the application of the provisions of the said Act to the Mumbai Metropolitan Area in the State of Maharashtra vide notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Urban Development number S.O. 2625(E), dated the 16th October, 2009;

Whereas, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 32 of the said Act, the Central Government added metro alignment of Mumbai Metro Line-5, Thane-Bhiwandi-Kalyan to the Schedule of the said Act vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs number S.O. 2126(E), dated the 26th June, 2019;

Whereas, the Government of Maharashtra, vide Resolution number MRD-3326/CR-185/UD-7, dated the 22nd April, 2026, has approved the revised alignment of Mumbai Metro Line-5 (Thane–Bhiwandi–Durgadi), and extension of the said metro corridor from Durgadi to Kalyan with a spur from Bhoirwadi to Ulhasnagar as Mumbai Metro Line-5A;

And whereas, the Central Government is of the opinion that alteration is necessary for the construction and maintenance of the metro railway to which the said alignment relates;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 32 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment to the Schedule of the said Act so as to substitute the metro alignment of Mumbai Metro Line-5 in respect of the metropolitan area of Mumbai, namely:- “The metropolitan area of Mumbai Mumbai Metro Lines- Mumbai Metro Line-5: Kapurbawdi, Balkum, Kasheli, Kalher, Purna, Anjur Phata, 5, and 5A and its spur Dhamankar Naka, Bhiwandi, Temghar, Rajnouli, Govegaon, Kongaon West, Kongaon East.

Mumbai Metro Line-5A and its spur: Durgadi, Khadakpada, Bhoirwadi, Chhatrapati Shivaji Path, Kalyan, Shanti Nagar, Chhatrapati Shivaji Chowk, Ulhasnagar.
