Ms. No. 36, Health and Family Welfare (M1), 5th February 2026, தைை 22, விசுவாாவாசு, திருவாள்ளுவார் ஆண்டு-2057.] No. SRO A-12/2026.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 32B of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 (Central Act 23 of 1940) read with sub-rule (2) of Rule 3 of the Drugs and Cosmetics (Compounding of Offences) Rules, 2025 and in supersession of the Health and Family Welfare Departments Notification No.SRO A-34/2025, at page 84 of Part III—Section 1(a) of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, dated the 19th November, 2025, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the Controlling Authority as the Compounding Authority for the purpose of exercising such powers and functions of the State Government under the said rules.
