In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (9) and sub-section (1) of Section 14 of the Unified Waqf Management, Empowerment, Efficiency and Development Act, 1995 (UMEED Act, 1995) (Central Act 43 of 1995), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the following persons as Members of the Tamil Nadu Waqf Board, subject to the outcome of the Writ Petition (Civil) No.276 of 2025 and connected matters pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India against the said Act, namely: - Sl.No. Name of the member Category
