GENERAL NOTIFICATIONS Variation to the Approved Coimbatore Master Plan for the Local Planning Area (Roc No:872/2026/CD-3) No. VI(1)/438/2026.
1. In exercise of power conferred under sub-section (4) of the Section 32 of Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) and exercise of powers confirmed by the G.O.Ms.No.94 Housing and Urban Development (4-1) Department dated 12.06.2009 which has been published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.27, Part II—Section 2 dated 15.07.2009.
2. Land use zone conversion from Agricultural use zone into Residential use zone ordered in G.O.(2D)No.234, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(1)] Department dated 06.08.2026, subject to conditions the following variation are made to the approved Master Plan of Coimbatore Local Planning Area under the said act and published in the G.O.Ms.No. 103, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(2)] dated 04.07.2025, notification No.II(2)/HOU/582(m)/2025 at Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 07.07.2025.
Variation In the said Approved Coimbatore Master Plan, under the heading permitted land use in various survey numbers of Coimbatore Local Planning Area, under heading in Coimbatore District, Perur Taluk – Thennamanallur Village, the following entries should be made.
(i) Under the heading “Residential land use zone” the expression SF Nos. 469pt, 470pt, 471, 487, 488, 495pt, 496, 497 shall be added after SF No. 469/2B, 470/2B, 471/2, 487/1A1,487/1B, 488, 495/2, 496/2, 497/1, 497/2.
(ii) Under the heading “Agricultural land use zone” the expression SF No: 469pt, 470pt, 471, 487, 488, 495pt, 496, 497 Shall deleted and the expression SF.No. 469/2B, 470/2B, 471/2, 487/1A1,487/1B, 488, 495/2, 496/2, 497/1, 497/2 shall be substituted.

Variation to the New Town Development Plan of the Hosur New Town Development Area (Roc No.41/2026/KD(HNTDA)) No. VI(1)/439/2026.
1) In exercise of the Power conferred under sub-section (4) of the section 32 of Tamil Nadu Town & Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) and exercise of powers confirmed by the G.O.Ms.No.94, Housing and urban Development [UD 4-(1)] Department dated 12.06.2009 which has been published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.27, Part II—Section 2, Page No.228, dated 15.07.2009.
2) Land use zone conversion from Agricultural use zone into Industrial use zone ordered in G.O (2D) No.221, Housing & Urban Development [UD4(L.U.C-1)] Department dated 23.07.2026. The following variations are made to the Hosur Development plan 2046 of approved Hosur New Town Development Authority under the said act, G.O.Ms.No.08, Housing and urban Development [UD4-(1)] Department dated 20.01.2025 and published in the Tamil Nadu Government Extraordinary Gazette Notification No.32] II(2)/HOU/69(a)/2025 at Part II—Section 2, dated 22nd January 2025.
Draft Variation In the approved Hosur Development Plan 2046 under the heading permitted Land use in various survey numbers of Hosur New Town Development Planning area in GOBANAPALLI village Page No.302 & 303 in S.F.Nos.500/2A, 2B, 3, 501/1C1, 2A2, 2B, 2C, 3A, 3B the following entries should be made.
(i) Under the heading “Industrial use” the following S.F.Nos. 500/2A, 2B, 3, 501/1C1, 2A2, 2B, 2C, 3A, 3B shall be added after the S.F.No.499 of Gobanapalli village in the Sl.No.2(i) of Page No.302.
(ii) Under the heading “Agricultural use” the following in Sl.No.5 of page No.303, S.F.No.500 (except 500/2A, 2B, 3), 501(except 501/1C1, 2A2, 2B, 2C, 3A, 3B) shall be substituted instead of 500 & 501.August 26, 2026] TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE 359 நிநிபபந்ந்ததனைனை��ககள்ள்::

Variation to the Review Consented Thiruvarur Master Plan for the Thiruvarur Composite Local Planning Area (நா.க.எண்.6026/2025/TVR) No. VI(1)/440/2026.
1. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 32 of the Tamil Nadu Town & Country Planning Act 1971(Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) and as per the G.O.Ms.No.102 Housing and Urban Development [UD4(L.Re-1)] Department,Dated.18.08.2021, the following Notification is published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.
2. The land use zone conversion from Agriculture use zone into Residential use zone is ordered in G.O.(2U).No.230 Housing and Urban Development [UD4(L.Re-1)] Department, Dated:05.08.2026. The following variations are made to the Master Plan of Thiruvarur Composite Local Planning Area which is Review Consented wide G.O.Ms.No.133 Housing and Urban Development [UD4(2)] Department, Dated 21.04.2005 and has been published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.17, Page No.210, Part VI—Section 1 Dated.11.05.2011.
Variation In the Review Consented Thiruvarur Master Plan under the heading “Schedule for Town & Villages” (Land use for various survey numbers of Thiruvarur Composite Local Planning Area) and under heading in village number 10. Adiyakkamangalam Village for the “S.F.No. 259pt,” the following entries shall be made.
Against the entry in the Agriculture use zone (AG 29), after the expression 258 to 260 the expression “except S.F.No.259/3, 259/8A and 259/8B” shall be added.
Against the entry in the Residential use zone, after the expression 258 to 260 the expression “including S.F.No.259/3, 259/8A and 259/8B” shall be added.
Conditions:
1. The Proposed site will be constructed along water bodies as the canal is located on Plot No.257 on the eastern boundary and Plot No.130/69 on the western boundary.
2. Any development shall be carried out as per TNCD&BR 2019.

Variation to the Review Approved Master Plan for the Cuddalore Local Planning Area (நா.க.எண்.181/2026/கமாா) No. VI(1)/441/2026.
1. In exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (4) of section 32 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) and exercise of power confirmed by the G.O.Ms.No.94, Housing and Urban Development (4-1) Department dated. 12.06.2009. Which has been published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.27. part II—Section 2, dated 15 July 2009 and G.O.Ms.No. 102, Housing and Urban Development [UD4] Department dated. 18.08.2021.
2. Land use zone Conversion from Agricultural use zone into Residential use zone ordered in G.O.(2ப).No.214, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(நி.ப.மாா-1)] Department dated. 13.07.2026. The following variations are made360 TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE [Part VI—Sec. 1 to the Review Approved Master Plan of Cuddalore Local Planning Area under the said act the published in the G.O.Ms.No.176, Housing and Urban Development [UD4] Department dated. 14.07.2006 which has been published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Notification No.37 Part II—Section 2, Page No.326 dated 20.09.2006.
Variations In the said Review Approved Cuddalore Master Plan in Schedule under the heading Land Use zoning for Cuddalore Local Planning Authority sub head ANNEXURE-VI, AGRICULTURAL USE ZONE - under the heading in 207 Village name Thiruvendhipuram.
(i) Against the entry survey Nos. 15 to 19, Survey No.15 to 17, 18pt (except survey No 18/1 & 18/3), 19 Shall be substituted after the entry Survey No.13.
(ii) Under the head ANNEXURE -3.1 sub head 1(b) Mixed residential use zone serial No.207, Thiruvendhipuram Village, the expression survey No. 18/1 & 18/3 shall be added after the entry survey No. 10.
Conditions
1. Development works has to be carried out as per TNCDBR-2019.

Variation to the Approved Second Master Plan for Chennai Metropolitan Area 2026 of Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority for Chennai Metropolitan Area Ottiyambakkam Village, Chengalpattu District (Letter No. R1/0094/2025-1) No.VI(1)/442/2026.
In exercise of the powers delegated by the Government of Tamil Nadu in G.O. Ms. No.419, Housing and Urban Development Department dated 1st June 1984 under Section 91 (1) of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 the Member-Secretary, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority hereby makes the following variation under sub-section (4) of Section 32 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) to the Second Master Plan for Chennai Metropolitan Area 2026, approved in G.O.(Ms) No.190 Housing & Urban Development (UD I) Department dated 02.09.2008 and published as per G.O.(Ms) No.191 Housing & Urban Development (UD I) Department dated 02.09.2008, as Housing and Urban Development Department Notification in No.266 Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated the 2nd September 2008.
Variation
In the said Second Master Plan land use map for the Ottiyambakkam Village the following expression shall be added: - “Map P.P.D. / M.P II (V) No. 75/2026
to be read with Map No: MP-II/CMA (VP) 239/2008” Explanatory Note (This is not part of variation. It intends to bring out the purport) Survey Nos. 286/1B1 & 286/1B2B, 290/1, 2, 3A & 290/3B, 292/2B and 295/2B1 of Ottiyambakkam Village, Tambaram Taluk, Chengalpattu District, St. Thomas Mount Panchayat Union Limit classified as “Agricultural Use Zone” is now reclassified as “Residential Use Zone” subject to the condition that public access to surrounding vacant lands to be ensured while taking up development.
