23. घरेल ूउद्योग को हुई क्षजत के आकलि हते ुआवेदकों द्वारा उपलब्ध कराई गई िािकारी पर जवचार दकया गया ह।ै आवेदकों िे प्रथम दष्टृया ऐसे साक्ष्य प्रस्ट्तुत दकए ह ैंिो यह स्ट्थाजपत करते ह ैंदक संबि आयातों स ेघरेलू उद्योग को क्षजत हुई ह।ै आवेदकों िे दावा दकया ह ैदक क्षजत िांच अवजध के दौराि आयातों की मात्रा म ेंजिरपेक्ष रूप स े तथा भारत म ेंमांग के सापेक्ष वजृि हुई ह।ै संबि वस्ट्तुए ंघरेलू उद्योग की कीमतों म ेंमहत्वपूणा कटौती कर रही थीं तथा इि आयातों के कारण घरेलू उद्योग की कीमतों पर दबाव और जगरावट आई ह।ै जबक्री म ेंवृजि के बाविूद घरेलू उद्योग के औसत भंडार म ेंवृजि हुई ह।ै यह भी दावा ककया गया ह ैकक पाटित आयातों के कारण घरेल ूउद्योग के लाभप्रदता संबंधी मािकों पर प्रजतकूल प्रभाव पडा ह,ै जिसम ेंजिविे पर प्रजतफल म ेंकमी भी िाजमल ह।ै अजमताभ कुमार, जिर्दाष्ट प्राजधकारी MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) (DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF TRADE REMEDIES) CORRIGENDUM NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 19th August, 2026 Case No. AD (OI)-24/2026

Subject: Initiation of anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of “Hot Rolled Flat Products of Alloy or Non-Alloy Steel” originating in or exported from China PR, Japan and Russia.

No. 6/26/2026-DGTR: Having regard to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, as amended from time to time, and the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-Dumping Duty on Dumped Articles for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, as amended from time to time, the Designated Authority has issued the initiation notification vide F. No. 6/26/2026-DGTR dated 25th June 2026 in respect of the subject anti-dumping investigation.

Para 23 of the subject initiation notification is modified as under:

23. Information furnished by the applicants has been considered for assessment of injury to the domestic industry. The applicants have furnished prima facie evidence establishing that the subject imports have caused injury to the domestic industry. The applicants have claimed that the volume of imports increased in both absolute terms and in relation to demand in India over the injury period. The subject goods were undercutting prices of the domestic industry and the subject imports suppressed and depressed the prices of domestic industry. Despite increased sales, the average inventory of the domestic industry increased. The applicants have claimed that there is adverse impact on profitability parameters of domestic industry, including decline in return on investment, due to dumped imports.
