[37] DTP—III-1(a)–(31)38 TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE [Part III-Sec.1(a) NOTIFICATIONS BY GOVERNMENT CO-OPERATION, FOOD AND CONSUMER PROTECTION DEPARTMENT Draft Amendments to the Tamil Nadu Food Security Rules, 2017 [G.O. Ms. No. 53, Co-operation, Food and Consumer Protection (B2), 21st July 2026, ஆடி 5, பராாபவ, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2057.] No. SRO A-15/2026.—The following draft amendments to sub-rule (1) of rule 7 and sub-rule (2) of rule 8 of the Tamil Nadu Food Security Rules, 2017, which are proposed to be made in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section. (1) of section 40 of the National Food Security Act, 2013 (Central Act 20 of 2013), is hereby published for information of all persons, as required under sub-section (1) of the said section 40.

2. Notice is hereby given that the draft amendments will be taken into consideration on or after the expiry of fifteen days from the date of publication of this notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette. Any objection and suggestion, which may be received from any person with respect to the draft amendments before the expiry of the aforesaid period will be duly considered by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

3. Objections and suggestions, if any, shall be addressed to the Director of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Ezhilagam, Chepauk, Chennai-600 005.

Draft Amendments In the said Rules,

(1) in rule 7, for sub-rule (1), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely: - "(1) The District Supply Officer of the districts except Chennai and the Taluk Supply Officer of the Taluks and the Assistant Commissioners of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department in Chennai shall be the Nodal Officers to ensure smooth implementation of public distribution system within their respective jurisdictions";

(2) in rule 8, for sub-rule (2), the following sub-rule shall be substituted, namely: - "(2) (i) The Members of the Vigilance Committee except the designated Government servants and elected representatives at Shop Level, Taluk and District Level in all Districts except Chennai shall be nominated by the District Collector concerned.

(ii) In Chennai, the Members except elected representatives of Shop Level, Zonal Level shall be nominated by the Joint Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department.

(iii) The Members of Vigilance Committee except designated Government servants and elected representatives of Chennai District Level and at State Level shall be nominated by the Commissioner of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department".

(1) உட்பிரிவில் வழங்காப்பட்டுள்ள அதிகாாராங்காவைளக் கொகாாண்டு, 2017-ஆம் ஆண்டு �மிழ்நாாடு உணவுப் பாதுகாாப்பு விதிகாவைளச் தேசர்ந்� 7-ஆம் விதியின் (1) துவைணவிதி மற்றும் 8-ஆம் விதியின் (2) துவைணவிதி ஆகியவற்றில் பின்வரும் வவைராவு திருத்�ங்காவைள தேமற்கொகாாள்ள காருதுவ�ால், தேமற்கொசான்ன சட்டத்தின் 40-ஆம் பிரிவைவச் தேசர்ந்� (1) உட்பிரிவின் கீழ் தேகாாராப்பட்டவாறாாகா அவைனத்து நாபர்காளின் �காவலுக்காாகா இ�னால் கொவளியிடப்படுகிறாது.

2. இந்� அறிவிக்வைகா ��மிமிழ்ழ்நாநாாாடுடு அஅராராசிசி��ழிழில்ல் கொவளியிட்ட நாாளிலிருந்து பதிவைனந்து (15) நாாட்காள் முடிவவைடயும் நாாளன்று அல்லது அ�ற்குப் பின்னர், தேமற்கொசான்ன வவைராவு திருத்�ம் பரிசீலவைனக்கு எடுத்துக் கொகாாள்ளப்படும் என இ�னால் அறிவிக்காப்படுகிறாது. தேமற்கொசான்ன காால அளவு முடிவவைடயும் முன்னர், யாகொ�ாரு நாபரிடமிருந்து வராப்கொபறுகிறா வவைராவு திருத்�ங்காள் கொ�ாடர்புவைடய ஏதே�னும் மறுப்புவைரா அல்லது காருத்துவைராவைய �மிழ்நாாடு அராசு உரியவாறு பரிசீலிக்கும்.

3. மறுப்புவைராகாள் அல்லது காருத்துவைராகாள் எவைவதேயனுமிருப்பின், அவற்வைறா, இயக்குநார், உணவுப் கொபாருள் வழங்கால் மற்றும் நுகார்தேவார் பாதுகாாப்புத் துவைறா, எழிலகாம், தேசப்பாக்காம், கொசன்வைன-600 005 என்றா முகாவரிக்கு அனுப்ப தேவண்டும்.Aug. 5, 2026] TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE 39 வகைைவு திருத்தங்ைள்.

தேமற்கொசான்ன விதிகாளில்,

(1) விதி 7-இல், துவைணவிதி (1) க்குப் பதிலாகா, பின்வரும் துவைண விதி அவைமத்துக் கொகாாள்ளப்பட தேவண்டும். அ�ாவது:- "(1) கொசன்வைன நீங்காலாகா ஏவைனய மாவட்டங்காளின் மாவட்ட வழங்கால் அலுவலர் மற்றும் வருவாய் வட்டங்காளின் வட்ட வழங்கால் அலுவலர் மற்றும் கொசன்வைனயில் உள்ள உணவுப் கொபாருள் வழங்கால் மற்றும் நுகார்தேவார் பாதுகாாப்புத் துவைறாயின் உ�வி ஆவைணயர்காள் ஆகிதேயார் �ங்காளுக்குரிய அதிகாாரா வராம்பிற்குள் கொபாது விநிதேயாகாத் திட்டத்திவைன சீராாகா கொசயல்படுத்துவவை� உறுதி கொசய்வ�ற்காான ஒருங்கிவைணப்பு அலுவலர்காளாகா இருப்பார்காள்";

(2) விதி 8-இல், துவைண விதி (2)-க்குப் பதிலாகா பின்வரும் துவைண விதி அவைமத்துக் கொகாாள்ளப்பட தேவண்டும். அ�ாவது:- "(2) (i) கொசன்வைன நீங்காலாகா அவைனத்து மாவட்டங்காளிலும், நியாயவிவைலக் காவைட அளவிலும், வட்டம் மற்றும் மாவட்ட அளவில் நியமிக்காப்பட்ட அராசுப் பணியாளர்காள் மற்றும் தே�ர்ந்கொ�டுக்காப்பட்ட பிராதிநிதிகாள் �விரா, காண்காாணிப்புக் குழுவின் உறுப்பினர்காள் சம்பந்�ப்பட்ட மாவட்ட ஆட்சியராால் நியமிக்காப்படுவர்.

(ii) கொசன்வைனவையப் கொபாறுத்�மட்டில், நியாயவிவைலக் காவைட அளவிலும், மண்டல அளவிலும் தே�ர்ந்கொ�டுக்காப்பட்ட பிராதிநிதிகாவைளத் �விரா உணவுப்கொபாருள் வழங்கால் மற்றும் நுகார்தேவார் பாதுகாாப்புத் துவைறாயின் இவைண ஆவைணயராால் உறுப்பினர்காள் நியமிக்காப்படுவர்.

(iii) கொசன்வைன மாவட்ட அளவிலும் மற்றும் மாநில அளவிலும் நியமிக்காப்பட்ட அராசுப் பணியாளர்காள் மற்றும் தே�ர்ந்கொ�டுக்காப்பட்ட பிரிதிநிதிகாவைளத் �விரா, காண்காாணிப்புக் குழுவின் உறுப்பினர்காள், உணவுப் கொபாருள் வழங்கால் மற்றும் நுகார்தேவார் பாதுகாாப்புத் துவைறாயின் ஆவைணயராால் நியமிக்காப்படுவர்." பெெ. அமுதா, அராசு கூடு�ல் �வைலவைமச் கொசயலாளர்.
