GENERAL NOTIFICATIONS Variation to the Approved Second Master Plan for Chennai Metropolitan Area 2026 of Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority for Chennai Metropolitan Area Velachery Village, Chennai District (Letter.No.R2/0061/2023-1) No.VI(1)/214/2026.
In exercise of the powers delegated by the Government of Tamil Nadu in G.O. Ms. No.419, Housing and Urban Development Department dated 1st June 1984 under Section 91 (1) of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 the Member-Secretary, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority hereby makes the following variation under Sub-section (4) of Section 32 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of
1972) to the Second Master Plan for Chennai Metropolitan Area 2026, approved in G.O.(Ms) No.190 Housing & Urban Development (UD I) Department dated 02.09.2008, G.O.(Ms) No.191, Housing & Urban Development (UD I) Department dated 02.09.2008 and published as Notification in No.266 Part II – Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated the 2nd September 2008.
Variation
In the said Second Master Plan land use map for the Velachery Village the following expression shall be added: - “Map P.P.D. / M.P II (V) No. 49/2026 to be read with Map No. MP-II/CITY 40-B/2008’’ Explanatory Note (This is not part of variation. It intends to bring out the purport) T.S. Nos. 76 and 77/1, (Old S.No. 230part), Block No. 61, Ward-001, Velachery Village, Velachery Taluk, Chennai District, Greater Chennai Corporation limit classified as “Institutional Use Zone’’ is now reclassified as “Residential Use Zone’’.

Variation to the sanctioned Dharapuram Master Plan for the Dharapuram Single Local Planning Area (ந.க.எண்.4104/2025/எப்.1) No.VI(1)/215/2026.
1. In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (4) of Section 32 of Tamil Nadu Town & Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) and exercise of powers confirmed by the G.O.Ms.No.94 Housing and Urban Development [UD4(1)] Department dated 12.06.2009 which has been published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.27, Part II—Section 2, dated 15.07.2009.
2. Land use zone conversion from Agriculture use zone into Residential use zone ordered in G.O.(2U) No.141, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(CLU-1)] department dated 13.03.2026. the following variations are made to the Master Plan of Sanctioned Dharapuram single Local Planning Authority under the said act and published in the G.O.(Ms).No. 230, Housing and Urban Development Department [UDIV(2)] dated 19.02.1991 Notification No.18, at page No. 314 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated the 15th May 1991.
Draft Variations In the Sanctioned Dharapuram Master Plan under the heading permitted land use in various survey numbers of Dharapuram Single local planning Area under heading in VI. AGRICULTURAL USE ZONE - USE ZONE-6, A2, Ward No.2, Block No.3, Page No. A19, the following entries should be made.Apr. 8, 2026] TAMIL NADU GOVERNMENT GAZETTE 179 i Against the entry of 56 & 57 under A2, Ward No.2, Block No.3, under the heading VI. AGRICULTURAL USE ZONE - USE ZONE-6, the expression 56 & 57 shall be deleted after 56 pt and 57 pt (expect 56/2 and 57/3) shall be added.
ii. Add TS.No. 56/2 and 57/3 in Ward No.2, Block No.3 under the heading Mr of (b), MIXED RESIDENTIAL USE ZONE Ward No. 2, Block No.3.

2. Land use zone conversion from Agricultural use zone into Residential use zone ordered in G.O.(2D)No.71, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(1)] Department dated 18.02.2026 subject to conditions the following variation are made to the approved Master Plan of Coimbatore Local Planning Area under the said act and published in the G.O.Ms.No. 103 Housing and Urban Development [UD4(2)] dated 04.07.2025 notification No. II(2)/HOU/582(m)/2025 at Part ll—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 07.07.2025.
Variation In the said Approved Coimbatore Master Plan, under the heading permitted land use in various survey numbers of Coimbatore Local Planning Area, under heading in Karunsamikavundampalayam Village, page Nos. 235-236 the following entries should be made.
Under the heading “Residential land use zone’’ the expression SF Nos. 36/1B1B shall be added before the SF No.50pt.
Under the heading “Agricultural land use zone’’ the expression SF No. 36 shall be deleted and the expression SF No.36pt (except 36/1B1B) shall be substituted.

Variation In the Approved Coimbatore Master Plan, under the heading permitted land use in various survey numbers of Coimbatore Local Planning Area, under heading in Page No. 393 to 395 the Coimbatore District, Sulur Taluk, Kannampalayam Village, S.F. No.20/2A1A & 20/2A1B, Extent of 1.21.50 Hectare (or) 3.00 Acre Page No. 393 to 395, S.F. In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 32 of Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972), Land use zone conversion from Agricultural Use Zone to Residential Use Zone is ordered in G.O.(2D). 2. In exercise of powers delegated by the Government in G.O.(Ms). No.102, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(L. Re-1)] Department, dated: 18.08.2021, the following variations are made to the approved Master Plan of Salem Local Planning Area approved in the G.O.(Ms). No.105, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(2)] Department,
dated:22.03.2005 and published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Notification No. 14 at Page No. 168 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated.13.04.2005.
Variation In the Approved Salem Master Plan, under the heading permitted Land use in survey numbers of Salem Local Planning Area, under heading V. No. 60, Omalur (Part) Village in Page No.151-152, the following entries of S.F. Nos.
23 should be made accordingly.
Under the heading “AGRICULTURAL USE” and under the Sub-heading “AG-50”, the expressions “S.F.No.23P” shall be deleted and the expressions “23P (Excluding S.F.Nos.23/1C1A1B, 23/1C1A1C & 23/7) shall be substituted.
After the heading “WATER BODIES”, the following heading and expression shall be added. “RESIDENTIAL USE:
S.F. Nos: 23/1C1A1B, 23/1C1A1C & 23/7”

Re-1)] Department, dated: 18.08.2021, the following variations are made to the approved Master Plan of Salem Local Planning Area approved in the G.O.(Ms). No.105, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(2)] Department,
dated:22.03.2005 and published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Notification No. 14 at Page No. 168 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated.13.04.2005.
Variation In the Approved Salem Master Plan, under the heading permitted Land use in survey numbers of Salem Local Planning Area, under heading V.No.74, Konagappadi Village in Page No.161-162, the following entries of S.F.Nos.80 should be made accordingly.
Under the heading “AGRICULTURAL USE” and under the Sub-heading “AG-47”, the expressions “S.F.No.80P” shall be deleted and the expressions “80P (Excluding S.F.Nos.80/10A2 & 80/11A2) shall be substituted.
After the heading “WATER BODIES”, the following heading and expression shall be added. “RESIDENTIAL USE:

In exercise of the powers conferred under the first proviso to Section 13 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Courts Act, 1873 (Central Act III of 1873) the High Court, Madras, hereby directs that appeals from the decrees or orders of the District Munsif Court, Sriperumbudur be preferred in the Court of Subordinate Judge, Sriperumbudur with effect from the date on which the Subordinate Judge, Sriperumbudur assumes charge of the Subordinate Judge's Court at Sriperumbudur.

Conferment of Magisterial Powers on certain Revenue Officials (Roc. No.27952/2026/B6) No.VI(1)/221/2026.
No. 46/2026.—In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 11 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Act No. 46 of 2023), the High Court hereby appoints the following (i) One Deputy Tahsildar in Karur District
