NOTIFICATION The draft of the following rules to amend the Karnataka General Services (Printing, Stationary and Publications) (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2022 which the Government of Karnataka proposes to make in exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990), is hereby published as required by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the said Act, for the information of all persons likely to be affected thereby and notice is hereby given that the said draft will be taken into consideration after fifteen days from the date of it's publication in the Official Gazette.

Any objection or suggestion which may be received by the State Government from any person with respect to the said draft rules before the expiry of the period specified above will be considered by the State Government. Objections or suggestions may be addressed to the Principal Secretary to Government, Department of School Education and Literacy, M.S.Building, Bengaluru 560 001.

1. Title and commencement (1) These rules may be called the Karnataka General Services (Printing, Stationary and Publications) (Recruitment)

(Amendment) Rules, 2025.

(2) They shall come into force from the date of their final publication in the official Gazette.

2. Amendment of Schedule : In the Karnataka General Services (Printing, Stationary and Publications) (Recruitment) Rules, 2022, in the Schedule, in the category of the post of 'Director' at serial number 1, for column (5) and the entries relating thereunder, the following shall be substituted, namely:- "Must have put in a service of not less than one year in the cadre of Joint Director."
